*HA!!!!!* 😋 Everyone's go-to, Shoe Goo... Not so great is it? That was such a good comparison and test, I'm putting it in my "Tips and Tricks" folder!! 👍👍😎 It really baffles me why SO MANY People insist on that stuff. Okay, it's good for Styrene. I've been using various Gorilla Products for a few years now, with no complaints whatsoever! It just WORKS. Never used Goop. Even that is a better alternative! I haven't even SEEN Shoe Goo for sale anywhere around me (Southern Arizona). I could guess why. In Summer (NOW!!), temps get upwards of 115-120 DEGREES!! 🔥🔥 That's 47-50 Degrees Celsius! That stuff MELTS! 😳 There's times you really don't want that happening. Glad I never used it.... Carmine ✈🚂🚙

very good information. i used shoe goo to build custom rc truck bodies. i noticed it shrinks & warps the plastic as well as make low spots on the surface. the thicker i spread the glue the worse the damage. gorilla glue is definitely a better choice for my projects in the future. thanks for the info😃

Ive been using gorilla glue clear grip on my rc helicopters to hold down wires and protect them from sharp edges and stuff and it works amazing. Holds really strong and firm with a little bit of flex for vibration resistance, but comes off clean when you want it too. Amazing stuff !

I believe the Goop, Shoe Goo, and E600 are the same exact thing made by the same manufacturer. I have experience with all the but I highly recommend Goop Max 2 I have absolutely nothing but positive experiences with it as an adhesive I'm not exactly sure how it would work on pain tho. I glued a USB powered PC case fan to a device with the Goop Max 2 and I had to remove it a month later it was an absolute nightmare to remove and all I did was use two little dabs. Anyways while it was a nightmare to remove it really impressed me as an adhesive. There are many uses for glues and they all have their intended purpose but I swear the Max 2 has become one of my favorite glues and I keep a tube of it with my super glue. Folks either seem to love duck tape or adhesives for me it's adhesives. The Max 2 doesn't really seem to be self leveling like the others it may self level to an extent but I find self leveling not to be the best when you are trying to get the most coverage as possible on two small objects and it just wants to run down the side of what ever you are glueing. I have repeated it several times now but if you ever get the Goop Max 2 use it on two flat surfaces like scrap metal it's insanely hard to separate the two.

thanks for the info, the three types of glue that I tested to have different compound in them so they are a little bit different. I will definitely have to test out the goop Max 2.

PERFECT. I was getting ready to repair a split sole on my sneaker and was going to use Shoe Goo. Now, I'll get a tube of the Gorilla Glue instead. Thank you so much. UPDATE - I just viewed another video "Which Glue Is The Best" and Shoe Goo came out better than Gorilla Glue. I'M SO CONFUSED. I noticed that a lot had to do with how long the glue was allowed to dry.

Thanks for the video, Tank. But I would like to know how it actually works in a real application. I have bought some Goop (marine) to use on my convertible top. The stitching has dry rotted where the heavy plastic windows meets the canvas. The top is canvas not vinyl so I am hoping it will be easier to repair. I also am hoping to get 2 more years out of this top. In your experience do you think the goop will with stand the weather outside? Let me know what you think.....Thanks

Thank you for your comment oh, I did this video to demonstrate how good it work on styrene. On how it would perform on your application I am not sure because this glue is not really UV protected which mean it will degrade with the Sun so in your application I don't think it will work.
