If you wear glasses, apply contour bronzer blush and highlight while wearing them! You're whole face shape changes with the on and what looks good with them off could be completely different than with them on!

It’s sad to see big youtubers have to dance around what they’re trying say, worried that it’s going to be perceived wrong and cause them a scandal or to be “canceled” A lot of us viewers need to grow up and allow these people to enjoy their creative outlet.

I like using chapstick as an eyelid primer.... I read a comment once from a swimmer saying they used it to keep eyeshadow on while they swim so I tried it and fell in love lol. You just put a thin layer on your eye and let it dry for a min, then I go in with the darkest shade first and pack it in my crease, then make my way to my transition shade. I only use the chapstick when I'm not cutting my crease with concealer... idk if that's work. But it does hold shimmer and metallics on great too. I do soft halo eyes n they come out so pigmented and great n it'll stay in place.

I agree with that girl who said don't set the eyelids. I was never the one to set it everything is alot more pigmented and you have a tacky base to hold the eyeshadows in place. I have never had my eyeshadows streak either. I was just saying this is another video I feel like 10 years ago on KZbin people were not setting their eyelids. Love these hacks

Savannah Lee that actually really depends on your primer. If you use concealer, duh, it won’t look good. Creamy/gel like primers work fine though - Artdeco has a great one. Also, you’re still kinda setting it though? If you use skin colored powder or a colorful one doesn’t really matter.

So a hack I use is for foundation. I wear glasses, I can't do contacts, so I know the problem with glasses wiping off the foundation from my nose. So what I do is actually put down a little eyeshadow primer, then put the foundation on, and then set it with setting powder, and it won't wipe off!

My favourite hack is using a tinted loose powder all over my face when I'm too lazy to wear foundation. It evens out my skin tone and has a little bit of coverage but still looks natural. It's great for wanting to look a little put together but you don't have the time.

I NEVER set my eye lids. I've always hated the way it made my eyeshadow look! So youre NOT crazy. Its definitely smoother looking! I got a video idea for ya..since you're starting to like the whole not setting your eye lids, you could do a video with a palette/s that didn't work for you when you did set your eye lids. & try not setting them to see if you like it that way. Just a thought! Much love ❤

I’ve started setting only the space between my crease and my brow bone since that is where I want everything to blend. I don’t set my lid because that is where I want my shimmer shadows to really stick and have the most pigment. Seems to work well!

after you apply all the powder you’re gonna use (includes setting powder, foundation powder, blush, highlight, bronzer, etc.) use setting spray & then beat the setting spray into your skin with your damp beauty blender. this completely eradicates all problems you will have with cakeyness due to powder & stuff. this takes your powder and makes it look like your SKIN. it’s crazy how natural it makes it look

Michelle What I do to avoid that is I apply the dye with a eyebrow spoolie from an old brow pencil, and then to avoid getting the dye outside of my brow area I’ll outline my brows with like chapstick or you can use petroleum jelly, and that way you have kinda like a buffer so that the dye doesn’t get on your skin! I will also take a q-tip around the perimeter of my brows right after I put the dye on to kinda clean them up and make the edges look crisp before the dye dries down!
@pinkfeet518

Alison Winslow ooo I like the idea of the spoolie and chapstick! I’m gonna have to try and find the right shade for my hair (I have cool tone blonde hair but my eyebrows are a light brown). when they’re done do they took really bold or do they end up looking natural?

I use a spoon to curl my lashes :) almost like how scissors are used to curl ribbon so to say. It gives it a more swoop type curl as apposed to lash curlers... Plus it stays curled for me... Especially when using a waterproof mascara.. If I don't have time.. I just blow dry my curler and do it that way :) also, brown mascara for quick brows when I'm in a hurry and don't have time to mess with my light brows.

Try the bra tip not only with your mascara but with your concealer its life changing . It goes on smoother without having to warm it up on your fingers before applying .

Nikki Tutorials uses the hack of not setting her eye primer and it makes everything so much more vibrant! It’s beautiful and I’ve used it since I saw her doing it and I love it!😍 girl you’re so pretty I love your videos!♥️

When my mascara is a month or two old and it’s drying out a little, I will put my mascara in my bra while I do my face, that way it’s plenty warm by the time I need to use it. I do my face first, so it’ll be like that for a while. And then I like having a mirror beneath my nose, keeping my head straight, and looking down into the mirror to apply mascara. I’m still messy, but that helps significantly

The blush hack will probably look better if you use a less full coverage foundation

Best makeup hack I use is when applying mascara make ur lashes go towards your nose so in the opposite direction. And then I wait til I go in with a second coat to then fan them out towards my temples and omg the length you will get is unreal. I always put my mascara In a cup of hot water to melt up the product esp when I'm almost empty of my fav brand

I put on my concealer under my eyes before I put my foundation on, it makes it so the concealer doesn’t crease and it looks more natural

I dont consider half of these things hacks because KZbinr's have been telling the subs this for a long time. Nikkie with not setting your eye base. Jackie with letting concealer sit and thicken. James with setting apray before highlight. And cutting the crease with concealer and looking up i first heard from Alissa Ashely (its great for hooded eyes to know where transfer will stop).

For the fix plus hack I personally wouldn’t say it got rid of the baking powder but I would most definitely say it looked like it brightened it very well and like tighter for less creasing too💁🏻‍♀️🔥😍

I'm not a makeup artist. By that i mean, i still only look average with makeup on because i'm not that great at it.. before Nicol's makeup shes beautiful, after makeup shes jaw dropping. Girl you don't need school to be a makeup artist. Youre talented enough to be a makeup artist

Even though I have insanely dry skin, I still like to use a bunch of powders to set everything into place. After finishing my face I set it with a setting spray then immediately tap everything in with my damp morphe sponge. It really helps it all melt together and not look too cakey! I do my face first, so I still spritz again after eyes. But that is my favorite hack!

Have you tried using a dry brush and going over your face in a downward pattern, I find that this flattens down all the vellus hair on my face. This gives a smoother finish for those of us who don't shave all the hair off during dermabladeing.
