Use for strider hover: fall off cliff with strider you would dip into the lava and die as well as lose your strider but with the hover you didn’t dip in. It is a way to avoid death. Very useful

For the pearl and the bedrock, that's what we do to reach the roof to travel in the nether faster, i do that. you need one ladder, keep space pressed, through the bedrock (the last block) corner you launch a pearl and you are on the nether roof.
