The push out transition to the editing screen looked really great. It is a shame that LEGO has not continued with the PF stuff. 3rd part is really the only option now.

It was something I had seen in other videos and always wanted to do 😁. I'm just kicking myself for selling any PF motors that I did back in the day, why would I ever need more than 6 M size motors? 😭

@@BatteryPoweredBricks Nice! Here's some random test ideas: - Insert axle into motor, attach string to it and compare how much weight it can lift up in what amount of time - Maybe a sound test at different speeds? As a train guy I'd want the motors to be as noisy as the lego ones at the worst And just wondering, do these "knockoff" motors all function properly when using a Lego IR receiver? Personally I'd be interested in a PFx Brick test (it has way more speed steps and higher PWM) but not sure if you have one of those

The mold king used to have a stepless servo motor. It didn't just know the few positions like LEGO, it was truly stepless. However, the problem was that the batteries were ruined by it. The description where you ordered is wrong. The MK battery can handle the LEGO servo motor.

I've watched some videos about Lego leaks for 2024. One video mentioned that there is going to be a Porsche 911 car with a USB charging port battery, and it's going to be the fastest car Lego has come out with so far.

I haven't looked into it too much, from what I've heard the Lego RC community isn't too impressed with the design specs of the new RC hub. It basically looks like a modern version of the old RC hubs Lego used to have and won't be very customizable
@mooncake5874 Жыл бұрын
Mould King has many versions of motors, and I believe the best quality ones were those produced by Gobricks in the past. Both the casing and the connectors had excellent quality. Nowadays, they are rarely found in sets, and only a few XL motors are still from Gobricks. The connectors on the new factory-produced motors are of poor quality.

So, has anyone found a proportional control PF servo that actually works with the Mould King PF R/C kit? Mould King came out with a 6 channel as featured in this video. Right now, Mould King is selling a 4 channel version proportional control. I tested the Mould King servo with that and the 6 channel and got the same result. A full 90 degrees in either direction.

maybe try testing all the tiny switches and for me I did have problems with some offbrand motors not coupling with MK hubs properly but after a bit if wiggling they work also I'm still not sure if you can control the MK hub from a device other than their remote controls since it says it has Bluetooth but it also says it has radio control (whats the current on a MK hub at max?)

I bought a brand new Mould King Powered Module 6.0 and the range of the radio controller is really poor: less than 1 meter. Even less with bluetooth connection. In an MK video they claimed a range of 50 meters or more. What's the range in your experience?
@BatteryPoweredBricks10 ай бұрын
I haven't really done a lot of testing with wireless range, just to the end of the driveway. You say it is brand new, have you charged it yet? Fresh batteries in the controller? Besides that I guess you could reach out to MK, I've never had any response from them so at this point I'm sticking to companies that stand by their product
@tomatomaxxx10 ай бұрын
Both the controller and the power box have rechargeable batteries and both were charged. In one week of usage, in different places, the wireless range never went beyond 1 meter

I don't expect them to ever be. One of the ways Mould King saves money is for lack of a better word, stealing designs for parts as well as MOCs from Lego fans. The pieces are made much cheaper as well. I also can't imagine their workers are payed very well. Still Lego could do a lot of things to lower prices for consumers but I highly doubt they would. Profit does seem to be the highest priority these days
