there's two types of bogging. Lean bogging, rich bogging. Lean bogging would be losing power, dying down. Rich bogging would be sputtering or 4 stroking. Carbs just need tuning. Sounds to me it's too rich. Or maybe you just need to control the throttle gradually until you hit the powerband I suppose

i mean you loose power in both ways but better have it a little on the richer side then lean it out and melt a piston :)

@swealer true. Keeps the temps down too. In the video it's 60c, and it's sputtering when giving it gas, so definitely too rich

@@l81x16 didnt even think about that fact😅 but true! @Klemzi6945 could be. But its also possible that you just adjust the needle position itself. Most carb's have a splint (or clip) on the needle which can be put into 3 different height settings (in some carbs the needle only has 2 spots, in that case get a different needle or just slightly scrape a fine line in the needle to get the clip stuck there). Im not a native english speaker, so please dont mind grammar or spelling errors😅 but i hope you guys get what i meant🙂

you're bogging on the low end because the carb is flooding. when you're gonna do a pull rev up the engine to just below engagement for *atleast* 5 seconds. this should burn most of whats in the bowl so when you punch it its clear from the get go. you can also change the jetting on the carb, but, it sounds pretty healthy once it clears up. if you're still having troubles you might be able to change the engagement rpm by changing the spring in the primary clutch. prolly gonna need legit slicks on the rear tho lol. from an ex snowmobile racer :)

ima be real if you ever ride a 2 stroke dirtbike youll feel a power band ive riden snowmoblies the cvt puts them instantly in the power band 2 strokes dirtbikes over 80cc are 5 or 6 speed so it takes a little bit to hit the power band since the mph you go is based of the gearboxes ratio and the sprockets
