Changing just a little bit too soon. It's still making power right up to the new reflashed redline of 7800rpm. Have fun 😁
@KiwiCarLife3 жыл бұрын
Yeah tbh I actually recorded the gauge cluster shot on another day, the vbox shot was done in the dry and I took it right to redline then

Hi can you please make a review for a 2004 Mitsubishi Triton 2.8l by chance. Thanks. From Blenheim NZ
@KiwiCarLife3 жыл бұрын
That's oddly specific haha - I would but I don't think it'll get many views. Trying to stick mainly to CL9 and CD5 content atm because that's what most people want to see... Also I don't know anyone with one that I could borrow it off
@migueltanongon82953 жыл бұрын
You could borrow mine once I come back up north 😁😁

Great vid mate! 8 seconds to 60mph isn't really bad considering the fact that the car isn't made for 0-60 times and its a big family saloon plus its an old mans car :). Honda's aren't really 0-60 cars apart from NSX. They've always been better at higher revs like when you raced the 325i, I've had similar experiences since tuning mine, once I was able to pass an older Focus ST(who was flooring it) uphill at about 125mph. So all in all they are great cars. Anyway keep the vids coming mate!
@KiwiCarLife3 жыл бұрын
Cheers man yeah agreed, while the 0-100 time may not be the best, the mid range power and general like overtaking power is excellent, especially now its got the tune
@mrwaqy3 жыл бұрын
@@KiwiCarLife yeah the tune is great. If you do want more power, maybe new intake, header etc.
@KiwiCarLife3 жыл бұрын
@@mrwaqy Yeah I have purchased an injen intake, yonaka exhaust and maybe a plm header so they will be making their way onto the car very shortly!

what mods are good for a 2008 subaru impreza 1.5L?

Yeah tbh there's not too much worth doing, just get an intake to make it sound cool and don't bother doing anything more. Save ur money and get like a wrx or something
@Chad.D3 жыл бұрын
id suggest leaving it stock or get a foam HKS filter... also see if cobb accessport is supported on the 1.5 first but id say leave it stock and get a WRX and a cobb Accessport.
@KiwiCarLife3 жыл бұрын
@@Chad.D yeah agreed, not really worth modding a 1.5 it's never gonna be a rocket

How you done a time with stock wheels?
@KiwiCarLife2 жыл бұрын
Very simple. Put the stock wheels back on, and give it the beans, record the time.

Not bad at all! I was hoping mine would be a bit quicker too but yeah 8.0s was the very best I could manage (the gauge cluster shot I actually recorded on a different day when it was a bit greasy out, the vbox shot was in the dry with me like properly slam shifting it but even so it still wasn't as fast as I hoped)
@GamingHistory.3 жыл бұрын
what is this incredible gas milage?! you drive so aggressively and get really good economy
@KiwiCarLife3 жыл бұрын
I only really drive aggressively in the videos hahah, mostly I'm just cruising to and from work on the motorway which tends to balance it out.

I think you have do better time. Stock K24 CL9 7,9 mp, and you have reflash which means at least 0,5 mp. How much the weight of the wheels? Check this one with just reflash and CAI.: kzbin.info/www/bejne/baSkZpR5i9Nqf7M

@@KiwiCarLife My cl7 2.0 k20z2 (not euro-r) can 8,5mp with reflash, winter tires and enkei yamato (16kg with tires) on a bit slippery road, at dry conditions i think i can 8mp. I think Your k24 would be much better
@KiwiCarLife3 жыл бұрын
@@Denonavr1907 yeah I was hoping it would do better too. But 8 secs it is (and that was with me properly slam shifting it). I think maybe I need to redo this video and see if I can get a better time...
