Oh so pretty! Thank you for playing with My Odourless. I agree with you, once you start to work with it, it’s easier. It’s definitely slower, really great for newbies. This tip might help with bigger beads you mentioned Soak your brush fully as you begin, then drain less- this way you can get really big beads. You can also run under warm water to eliminate the dispersion layer ( it’s like a gel sticky layer - which is also why these products have low odours). It’s nice to do acrylics and not have an odour. I personally don’t mind the smelly stuff but some don’t like it. Love your channel ❤

@@haleysmith134 I'm not Emily but hope it's okay that I add my 2 cents in 😅. I use a moon shaped file. Even though I have an e-file I use different grits of moon files to get around the cuticle area when I'm doing my dominant hand using my non-dominant hand. It's just because I'm still a little nervous with the e- file in that hand so it goes by quicker in that area with the hand file. You can find them just about anywhere beauty products are and you might finish it off with a buffing block that has 4 sides with different grits you can choose from. Loved how they turned out! Some advice though when picking up the beads, you needed a bit more monomer in your brush to make larger beads. Dip the brush in then slide only half the brush gently against the dish then pat the brush in the powder two - three times. That should be able to give you bigger beads. Also look up the 3 bead method. This is a good method for giving you stronger apexes so that the nail won't break as easily.

I have used other odorless acrylic brands and it always the same result - yellowing and or cloudiness….. it seems to happen as the product dries…. I will say that they are extremely easy to use once you get the hang of it especially for beginners who may need additional time to work with it. I have a small child so I can’t use traditional monomer in my house, although I do love the smell of it lol … the set was still cute even though they weren’t completely clear…. The words “odourless monomer” had me here quicker than I could say “nail art” I’ve literally resorted to doing my own nails (I do them at home, rather than in the salon) in the shed in the past! (It’s not too bad if you have an extraction system, but doing my own at home sucks. I used to do acrylics on my mother, we have recently swapped to gel because it’s just so much more pleasant to do when not in the salon) I’ve recently thought about doing some travelling work (would save in rent!) but I held off because if someone has a small place and say pets or children around, I really don’t want to use acrylic.
