I know everybody is using a ape hanger freestyle set up for handlebars today, but I promise you, if you pull those bars back so the grip ends are pointing down, (mine are at 10 degrees), and maybe rotate your levers down a bit more, you will be able to keep your elbows up higher, and with a bit of practice, all those corners will be much easier to dive into. I see the amateur racing go-pro vids. Corner speed has never been slower for amateurs. Lower your seat and suspension a bit, and it gets even better. The bike geometry is the same as yesteryear, (when we figured things out better), sans a tall seat, so you can try old school set up too, and i know you will like it better. The froward bar set up may be good for freestyle, (leg trick clearance), and SX rhythm sections, but it is terrible everywhere else. The PRO riders today ride more forward with the forward bars, and they use more rear end rider sag (105mm or more) to offset it. Try the old school bar set up and 100mm or less sag. On my 2-stroke YZ250, I will be entering those corners leaned over and on the gas. I can tell, you have no confidence in them, and neither does most any amateur. I gotta try that tire. Everyone who watched the outdoor nationals last season. Seen these tires in action. We all also know the Riders did not like them . We all seen what the Race Teams did to the knobs at the nationals. The riders were not getting sufficient traction. So they cut the center lugs in half. They did this on Factory Team Race Tires. That are made with unattainable compounds the privateer can not get. If you want the absolute Best tires ammatuers can buy. Buy Hoosier tires. No Front tires is better.

I definitely agree with you on that! I got a front Hoosier tire in my basement that I can’t get wait to try next season! I hear wonderful things about Hoosier tires!
