Is it just me, or would this deck be far better as a Mecha'thun deck? Where your win conditions are: Jepetto'd Mecha'thun + Ping Luna'd Mecha'thun + Voodoo Doll + Ping Jepetto'd Undatakah + Ping Luna'd Undatakah + Voodoo Doll + Ping Undatakah + Luna'd/Jepetto'd Voodoo Doll + Shooting Star Basically, instead of trying to hit 4-5 combo pieces with Luna you only need to hit 1 and at most you need 3 cards for the combo (Undatakah + Vodoo + Shooting) meaning you can easily overdraw without concern vs Bomb Warriors.

Emptying your hand would mean an extra 2-3 turns compared to just drawing combo pieces (90%+ of deck), I don’t know if mage has enough stalling potential or enough draw to make that possible.

100% *not* better. The chance to draw Clockwork there is insignificant, it's only 10% chance, and that's if he doesn't draw it with Jepetto, which was also a possibility. It's about a 7% chance when you consider that, which is a chance that's definitely worth taking in exchange for having a 6/6 on board and two guaranteed 1 mana minions in hand (remember, if he goes for the Luna's + Novice play, he can also draw spells instead of his 1 mana minions), which lets him fight for the board longer and thus gives him more time to draw everything he needs. Sometimes you have to take the risk of overdrawing combo pieces when you're fighting aggro or tempo decks, if it gives you a significant board advantage, and this did. He probably would have lost if he didn't go for it.

I don't know if there's enough mana or board space for Alex when you set up the 80, damage, but if so, that's potentially 15 more damage. Or if you are in Wild and playing a priest, and they set their life to 40. Then it could be 25 more damage instead of 15.

If he faceless the shark, would the faceless shark gain stealth? Regardless, if the shark survived, with double fire eater, +8 damage to hero power, then clockwork would double the 9 to 18, faceless clockwork and double to 36 for lethal? Or did I miss something.

Unlikely. The 1 mana deal 8 sounds tempting to finish, but 99% of the time the opponent will have at least 1 minion, making Janalai very inconsistent. Also decreases the chance of getting combo pieces with Jepetto

Unrelated but they need to remove the freezing mechanic or rework it. No one ever brings it up but look at how long he was able to stall for. Mages have way too many ways to stall. Freeze is not fun or interactive.

Since the beginning of hearthstone, this was already a problem xD... though i agree with you on that, should be easier to counter as mages have got like 6 classic aoe freezes and 2 classic target freezes with spells, not to mention all the other cards added new to the game like "Ray of frost"....

I watch him him when he plays MTG arena and he mentioned HS not being as interesting to him anymore. And as far as Dota AutoChess, that game takes an incredible amount of skill to play at higher ranks. It's far more in depth than a lot of people think. It really takes out of the box thinking. HS is more of a what's good now game. You play what's good and win. Its deep, but not as deep as MTG or AutoChess
