So, for anyone that isn't sure, avoiding the brown, bleedy "merky-ness" the best way is to only put cool colors next to cool colors and warm next to warm, so the main colors this happens with are green and red as that makes brown - a color wheel will help a LOT with this and help.l you chose your color scheme without having to worry about them mixing and not looking right - warm vs cool tones 💖

actually if you get rid of yellow and orange,,and green, you can use rest of the rainbow, cuz yellow and purple make brown,,but yes that also works :)

Any colours that are complementary (opposites of each other) on the colour wheel will make a brownish colour when mixed together :)

So stoked to see someone finally using this stuff! I have this kit and I ADORE it. It's amazing. I honestly am a big fan of traditional gel, and really wanted to try the Young Nail's synergy gel but it's sooo pricey. I did buy this set on Amazon, btw. In any case, these little squeeze bottles make working with gel so much easier. I make killer full-gel press-on sets with this stuff.

Oh, I should mention, one thing I read about this stuff after buying it is that you can't soak it off with acetone. It has to be drilled off. I wouldn't recommend doing full nails with this unless you've got a drill and you're skilled with it. What I do is always place a thin layer of clear acrylic or polygel underneath and only work with the Qickgel in thin layers over top. That way it's super easy to drill it off and then soak off the rest when you get to the clear underneath :)

@@Tenuous.tomato I've def found that it is b/c of the consistency of the gel. I put blocks of both colors on the nail then just take my brush and do a swishing motion that blends the two colors together and it looks quite good :)

@@estalocaconnie Definitely! Though I will say that I sometimes have hard time making it nice and smooth the way I can make a nice builder gel lay down. So, I typically will use it without caring about how smoothly it turns out, file it down, then encapsulate with clear builder gel I can lay down in a nice, smooth layer.

Not sure what Jamaican black is but even normal castor oil on hair is amazing I put in a spray bottle diluted with cool boiled water and spray it a few hrs before I wash my hair once a week

Hi xx I love you channel, I recently found it and I think you make some awesome nail looks 😍✨💗🐳 I will just say cause I’ve seen many nail practitioners cut and scratch out the cuticles and I don’t know why they are taught/ do this as it can be painful and damaging and cause infections too. I have known this information for years but I still see this damaging method being taught and performed. When it’s so simple and easy to wash hand in warm water and gently push back the cuticle. Everyone will have different opinions but I just wanted to give this helpful information as I really like your creative style and I think your a cool person 💗🐳✨🌟

Living for the pink packaging! It seems like it’s a mix of poly gel and builder gel I feel it would be super easy to work with and very forgiving for beginners! 🔥🔥 young nails protein bond is 🔥🔥🔥I like enailcouture they have pretty long nail forms! I've been doing mine and my daughter's nails for bout a year now I started out with Poly Gel but recently been playing around with acrylics and honestly Poly Gel has spoiled me as it allows me lots of time to shape the nail. Ur part of the reason I started doing my own nails... U and Kirsty from Naio 😘 Question: how do I get my nails to stick better? I do a set and a day or so later they seem to wanna pop off... I'm using dual forms and polygel and I do use a dehydrater and non acid primer. Any advice would be appreciated!

It could be the dual forms im not experienced in it at all and I suck with forms but it seems like everytime I use dual forms they get a lip or start lifting immediately but make sure you’re buffing and using a base coat gel

This set is so beautiful!!!!! Another fabulous video!! I’m so curious to find out if this type of gel could be used to apply and add strength to Apres Gel-X or 123 go, and Kiara Sky Gelly soft gel nails. I’ve searched to find a video to no avail. Not sure if it would have enough “flex” to stand up to daily wear and tear. Your videos have inspired me to start doing my own nails during the fall of last year. Definitely prefer this type and hard gel vs polygel or acrylic. I have finally had enough practice on myself and a flexifinger hand to start doing my grown daughters nails. Great form of self love, also enjoy spending hours one on one with my girls for hours doing their nails, its very relaxing. Love that you are so down to earth. Thanks

I cure a swatch on the lid of all my gel polishes. It’s super helpful so you can see it’s true color real quick since the color on the label isn’t always exactly what you are going to get.
