I was floating on a happy cloud with my first born(daughter) & this time around with my boy, I’ve been nothing but agro & on edge... definitely feeling that extra testosterone haha. So I’d guess the complete opposite for the whole “mood” prediction one. Still guessing a girl for you either way tho. It HAS to be! 🧡 I must say though, for anyone else who is trying to guess their gender, I was told my entire first pregnancy by everyone who had experience carrying both girls & boys, that female fetus’ produce the hormone that causes nausea which is why we get so much more sick with girls. EVERYBODY I knew who had girls were super sick whereas those with boys hadn’t experienced ANY sickness at all. I thought that was the only true, scientifically proven wives tale to always go by - since I was in fact horrifically ill most of her pregnancy... Until this time around. When I became even MORE sick. With a boy. That blew my mind & was pretty hard to cope with, especially during my 20wk anatomy scan when we found out the gender & I was convinced it was another girl. I’ve also been sick much later into my third trimester this time as well as the vomiting being much more violent & preventing me from eating most healthy foods I would normally crave. Sometimes setting up expectations in our minds can cause more disappointment than anything else. Now I just think some women are more sensitive to pregnancy in general than others. Just so shocking to me still ! I still think these videos are super fun tho & can’t wait to for the gender reveal🌻🤗

The old wives tales were heavily girl for my daughter and heavily boy for my son, so I do put a *little* weight into their validity lol. I think they’re fun! I also guessed girl on Instagram so I’m happy to see these the tests in the feminine favor 😊. Also, I think the cabbage water looked pinker on video just because of the natural dilution from the urine and not an actual chemical/hormone color change.

Why can’t people wait until the anatomy scan to get the gender? It’s more accurate..

Because after 6 miscarriages and 1 of them being a stillbirth at 22 weeks due to a chromosomal abnormality, getting genetic testing in the beginning provides us with extreme peace of mind. Genetic testing looks at the baby’s DNA and is 99.9% accurate, which is actually more accurate than an ultrasound.

I found out with this baby via the blood test that showed were having a boy 🤗 we have a 5 year old daughter and have been trying for baby #2 since last May and we sadly lost 4 baby’s back to back then after our last loss in September and didn’t conceive again until February and we’re now 16 weeks with this baby 😬 I’m so scared cause we’ve had a verrrry rough time this pregnancy I’ve bled from 4-9 weeks and I’ve been cramping and having contractions the entire time so I’m horrified I’m gonna loose him. Fingers crossed we both get our rainbow baby’s
