I think this is mostly because the 6.2 was more limited in production than something like the LS variants, as it was only available in the super duty and 1g raptor trucks.

I love the sounds the crown vic make. The turbo's then the whine of the transmission, so cool. The crown vic as a drift car would be bad ass, I'm not into drifting, but a four door sedan gliding through the corners, that'll be fun. The vic is a kick ass car though.

Only thing I would suggest, is it deserves a nice aluminum interior. Door panels, dash etc. The rest of it already looks so good, may as well have a nice interior to match...lol

We didnt really. Just put our duty cycle at 100% and plumbed compressed air on top of the gates and controlled how much with the regulator on the tank. So it just makes 24psi all the time even in the burnout 😅

I know this is random for this video but I’ve been inspired into building my purple neon to rwd till it gives I’m going to make a trans adapter for my stock motor because it’s not stock and it’s lower miles but my question is how is the rear set up? i just wanna speak on one thing alone, your changing to many variables at one time. "boost, clutch, suspension" you had a decent start when you left track with a 1.6x run that back, and settle the suspension in, then adjust some clutch slipping. this is just like doing anything else your making it do that its not normally doing. "overclocking" a computer etc. you do cpu, then ram, or ram, then cpu. not both at the same time bc one or the other can cause issues and youll not know whats causing the issue. I get time is the issue. just food for thought..

We left the track with a 1.61 after numerous burnouts on glue essentially prepping the surface. Obviously we wanted to replicate that on the street the next day but conditions wasnt the same and had to dial it back in as we knew the track we'd be racing on would be even worse than the street. We only changed suspension settings because it topped the front out to fast after the launch resulting in it spinning 10 ish ft out, which fixed that issue. The boost was the only issue we had to fight. Once we got it making over 20 we left it alone aside for 2step boost but thats all timing based and only focused on the clutch tuning side of things. Theres alot of stuff that dont make it into these videos lol, because itd be to boring for the average viewers and theyre just gonna skip through. We know better than to make to many changes at once. But we was also working with very limited daylight and time before leaving so we had to swing for the fence and speed up the process a little.

@@BoostandBadHabits understandable, was just giving some feedback in my times of doing similar things with the same issues. although, nowhere near this power level mind you. either way, the average user watches for entertainment now days anyways. which im somewhat the same i suppose. then again, learning new shits always a thing everyday. hopefully where you left it did good enough that your able to revisit traction control as that in itself would be a game changer. i appreciate you guys showing the shit your doing/mistakes/success you get thru instead of "oh changed this and wham 1.2 60ft magic" b.s. either way, ill be watching for the upload of sick week. *(in theory) you could get traction control working good enough to control boost could you not? with the terminator your using?
