Testing Out Sany 405k and Custom 4.5 Yard Bucket

Removing Large Snow Piles with Sany 405K Wheel Loader after huge 3 part snow event dropped 15+ inches on the area. Working with a Cat 908M Wheel loader to clean up and load piles while our Doosan Dl320 Loads trucks at another pile. We had 20 trucks working with us that night going to one dumpsite which was about an hour round trip. That site ended up closing and we had to go to a new site which opened up but worked out in our favor because it was a 40 min round trip instead. Lano Equipment a local equipment dealer our company uses and has a good relationship with let us test out this wheel loader and custom bucket during this last snow hauling event. I hope to get some good plowing footage with it as well. From the 12 hours I got to run it Id say its a really solid machine especially for the price. If you want creature comforts and can get something with those for the same price I definitely would other wise I would strongly consider looking into these bad boys. This is a direct comparison to the Doosan Dl 320 we operate but about 9000 lbs lighter. I didn't have a cb because the loader wasn't ours which sucked but was still a good time testing it out.

Any problems with the sany?

Nope! We didn’t have it for very long but the time I spent in it felt like a pretty solid machine, especially for the price! You don’t get the creature comforts like you would in other more expensive brands so everything is real basic but you get what ya pay for. The only couple of things that I didn’t like and might get annoying was the shifter on the joystick felt real sticky and it would get stuck in neutral instead of forward or reverse which I had selected. Almost like it didn’t have a real defined fwd, n, rev. Another thing was the brakes and accelerator were super vertical so after 12 hours of running it my knees were super sore, this combined with the non adjustable joystick height operator comfort in a long event could be an issue. I personally didn’t mind the joystick but other guys didn’t like it being just one height. The last thing is you have to purchase a bucket separate so that’ll be an extra on top of the loader. The one we had on was a 4.5 yard cmp bucket and I believe it’s 40k. I’m not sure if that’s just a dealer thing where we are but you’ll have to take that into consideration when buying!

@@ryane6719 You can say that, but I will be the bearer of bad news for you, everything is from China, don't be fooled. Yes even Cat, Deere, Case etc, they might be "assembled" here in the US but they aren't "made" here. Almost all the steel parts come from China. In fact almost all the parts on "US' equipment is made somewhere else other than the US. There are a couple exceptions, but not much.
