Hey would you say this ultimate sonos setup is a good compromise to a traditional 5.1 separates ? I would be adding a second gen 3 sub to the arc and era 300's as surrounds. I am looking for advice. Thanks so much.

Hmmm if space and budget is limited to build a surround system I will say Sonos system is not bad it does it’s job but if u had a lot of budget and no space restrictions go for separates they are more detail and much more precise and accurate in where the sound coming from…my gf love my separates more she says as she say more immersive in term of sound but the price to build those can buy a lot of sets of (Sonos arc, gen 3 sub and era 300)is not budget friendly…

Hello sir how is the atmos effect of the 300s?i have the Arc dual subs,and two sonos one sl for surrounds.Does it really makes you say woow,that seems that there is somebody in the ceiling 😂havent heard it yet here where we live there are no stores where you can hear it as surrounds.thank you

I think I did reply u in the previous comment the ready one player had this scene where u had the kong jumping around…on top that can be heard…overall is more louder and a bit more details than the ones….as for games like call of duty modern warfare u can hear the chopper hovering and the airstrike that one is nice u must have the Dolby atmos contents to play around with it…as the surround pair is 3 x the price of a pair of ones in my country…if you had those just 7.1 or 5.1 video contents is not worth the upgrade as is louder and better details only u get out of it….I got a home theatre at home that one is more precise and accurate overall it can’t reach that kinda wow effect I had for home theatre separates but I think is not bad for the price if you compare to a real setup separates which is more expensive

I running only one sub btw after adding this era 300 I think it also add in bass as well so dunno for your setup will it be overkill 😂 as u had dual sub but mine is on the room so I had to tune down by -1 or -2 my height channel is +6

@@nakamuraamon3154i only have atmos but with streaming movies only do you think its worth the upgrade?not that i will just waste the money 🙈🙈.Sorry if i asked you already before cant remember besides i have the bell on so that when you have new content i can watch and check but i didnt have any notifications just found you channel again while scrolling.I dont use Atmos with bluray discs.Theres a huge difference in sound compare to Atmos with apple tv?

@@nakamuraamon3154mine with the dual sub with the ones doesnt overkill,i thought it will but,what i notice is that it has now a uniform sound all over the listening area.mine with movie i have the eq +2 and the sub + 4 and it didnt overkill at all that is for movies but for music i put both to 0.

@@juanvalera7272 Apple TV I not sure Netflix some video I tried had the atmos effect like Spider-Man no way home…I also tried Disney is kinda weak on the upper channel side the audio is not as great….HBO max the Batman the batmobile scene is nice 👍🏻 think if u thinking of upgrading is more future proof for the future movies as past content not much atmos effects used only recently had some like avatar way of water that one is nice and the dungeon and dragon that one had a lot of things going full surround…and gaming if u game using Xbox series X then upgrade is more worth it…as fps shooter u can hear very clearly footstep and chopper flying above u
