You can actually add one Era 300 to the theatre setup. I have a Beam, Sub Mini and one Era 300 in my bedroom. As you pointed out, the app will only allow you to add them as pairs in the same room as the soundbar and subwoofer. I have the Beam and Sub Mini setup in "bedroom 1" and then I set up the 300 in "bedroom 2". When I want to listen to all three as a single setup, I just combine "bedroom 1" and "bedroom 2" in the app and all three speakers will play together. I plan on adding a second Era 300 soon, but in the meantime this is a solution for only having one 300.

@@michael-4k4000 I have 3 era 300s now. My setup has grown since I made my original comment. Beam 2, sub mini, and 2 era 300s as rears. I also have 2 era 100s paired in stereo. I am much more familiar with the app and overall system now.

i tried it, even in BT it uses the different speakers and it sounds spatial, but over wifi is only real transmition as far as i know

@@monkeysgone2heaven1I think he’s saying if you get two ONES, not 100s, it’s good enough. But 300s are the best upgrade. I’ve heard that the difference between the Ones and the E100s is nice, but not significant enough to upgrade if you’re happy with your Ones.

@@monkeysgone2heaven1I bought into this video and sold my pair of 100’s and got the 300, instantly regret it. The 100’s alone have a richer sound that separates and bigger sound stage, the 300 is definitely louder and the spatial sound is similar to cinema but the 100’s are far better.

anything that uses reflected sound can never be accurate, also the accoustic environment is the main problem with all loudspeakers, no amount of EQ or delay can repair basic physics, headphones elliminate most of these problems.

depends heavily on the speakers. BT 5.X with right transmitter can almost be latency free. For watching videos even with firestick its good enough, hard to see lipsync differences. However with cheap speakers, forget it :D

@@TechMagnet Thanks for the the advice, appreciate it. However, I've tried several like Beosound and Homepod (airplay) and Bose and JBL (bluetooth) and they all exhibited the latency problem. I just bought a pair of wired Genelec 8030's. A bit pricier but they work fine and sound great. Added a lightning to xlr adaptor when using phones and tablets.

DO NOT BUY- The app is trash and you can't get them to connect or work after a year. Customer support is not helpful and speakers should always work even if the app is not the best. After trying everything for years they just got worse and just trashed over $1k in speakers. Terrible purchase and never again.
