Try setting powder on the concelar for about 2 mins for a nice surface but do it eyeshadow first before doing ur base makeup

I hate when my makeup feels cakey. I’ve been using that tape hack for years, it makes my eyeshadow look like it has a sharp wing. You just gotta use a smaller piece of tape so it doesn’t take off concealer and foundation. I also started using a hack where I put concealer under the wing to make it look snatched

I feel like the first foundation/base method was a lengthy and excessive way to achieve that look. I prefer a foundation, concealer, then contour method. It is so much easier to blend the desired shades and shapes, and it's quicker! I used to use tape in middle school/beginning of high school, but usually my setting powder prevented it from peeling my foundation off. Nowadays if I need to sharpen under the eyeshadow on the outer corner, a little concealer works well! Also, fingers are actually a great blending tool when it comes to makeup! I honestly prefer to blend my concealer with my ring finger than a brush 😄. Nessa's was definitely a more simple/everyday base, which I don't hate the method. I feel that the dots are a little unnecessary? Because you could just as easily do one swipe or small patch of concealer, foundation, etc in the desired area. Setting spray definitely helps prevent the products from drying too quickly, but I think too much doing spray does not always combine and sit/react well with those cream/liquid products. I think one would be able to blend it out before it dries down with little to no setting spray during that process. I agree that the eyeshadow techniques would be really helpful for beginners! Overall makeup is fun, creative, and a great way to express yourself! Trial and error will ultimately be what shows you what works best for you. Have fun with your makeup everyone!!!
