The "spillage" is called over-spray. Most often it is due to the needle being the wrong size for the nozzle opening, or the point of the needle is the wrong taper. So... yeah, the company is using cheaper materials for the airbrush. But... The last one you tried showed some VERY impressive results for an all-in-one "H Style" beginner airbrush! Nice choice! Still working on my budget to see if I can afford to get this kit. I LOVED the first one... but this is being released at the beginning of Hurricane season (I'm in New Orleans) and I have supplies I need to stock up on... So... We'll see if I can manage this one. Keep up the good work! And if I can't get the kit... no worries. I am sure it will find a good home and bring tons of fun to another grain! ❤️

Airbrushing is kinda intimidate if you don't have a demo, for me personally I do media makeup and had to learn how to do that like last year in december in college, theres so many ways of holding it, but I believe you can learn!

@@leademi1387 the plus side of air brushing.. you can use stencils and masks to do interesting effects... even use water droplets for a 3-D wet look using a different shade of color (seen it on "Power Nation" painting a car)

Im so excited i loved the first one even tho i haven’t used it much yet. Didn’t get to use the first one because my apartment was so small didn’t have much crafting space in my room 😭. It was also packed up for a while because i was moving. Now i have more than enough space i actually have a desk to craft on! Cant wait to use the two kits together!

I have traditional airbrushes. I saw you use the no name brand brush and have waited and waited for it to come back in stock as a kit, and to no avail! I was so excited for it! But honestly, I'd rather support you as a small business. If I manage to order fast enough this will be my fourth kit of yours, which makes me happy. The first 'crap' kit was for me, the second was for a friend, the third was because I needed a second mold to keep on hand. I'm sure I'll need two of these molds as well. I keep one of each mold for using with food because I don't want to use a resin used mold for food products, clay either. I'm also sure the same friend will also want this kit lol. Anything I can do to help you get sold out lol!

Have you thought of getting a mixer for your paints... We got a vortex mixer. Works amazing to mix all of our paints for airbrushing, miniature paints and craft paints. Even $ ones lol 😜. It makes sure you get the mixy mixes.

One tip, you can mix it in the airbrush, however you need to back bubble it to mix it then use the cleaner once done with it to get it all out since taking it apart is a pain and can break the fine needle - this is for anyone that needs it but this is a different type of airbrush and different type of substance thats being used

Ahhhhhh!!!!! It’s my birthday in a week, so this is the PERFECT timing!! I missed out on your previous kit (and others kits!) I have been wanting to get into airbrushing also, so it’s super sweet that you’re putting this in!! Like a double wish come true. My dad did airbrushing when I was a kid and has amazing results & paintings. I am also planning a gift to get my mom Back into miniature painting , and this airbrushing will be a great compliment to her hobby we can both use!

Heya... Same here with airbrushes, first have to find a "friendly" enough airbrush to use as a beginner to learn how to control the paint / air ratio to get the desired effects.. but also has the ability to expand your imagination and creativity.. also thought bout getting into powder coating..

Next time look into Createx Airbrush or Wicked Colors. If you want to test something new. They are Water-based pain. I used it on T-shirts, shoes, walls, and helmet, and car parts. You can also add airbrush paint thinner and they do have glitter in some of the paint.

Hi Jackie! I don't know if you ever used the Basic brand acrylic paint but they have amazing gold, bronze, and silver paint. Large plastic tubes. I got mine at Michaels in BC Canada. I have painted with these colors on canvas and they are gorgeous!

The mold isn't available anywhere else. The rest, if you shop carefully, you can likely get less expensive, but Jackie's kits are a good deal for what is included. You could always go look up the MSRP to show your parents. (I'll admit, this would be a pricey gift for my kids. Id hold it until a holiday.)

When you a long time ago used your canned airbrushed , i wanted 1 and that i never found that so i boughed a cheap 1. Months ago i bought a real 1 with compressor but with a 2 litle air holding tank and i love it. But about the shaking here a tip their is a mixer for them but its expensive so a shop holder told me use your electric toothbush to it. And tip 2 use rubbing alcohol or thinner in those paints in your airbrush. Tip 3 i hope in your set tell them to clean the airbrush with cleaner but probebly you put it in the kit

Also, did you try createx airbrush paints? They're very impressive paints imo, though I'm no expert. The thing to know with airbrushing is that you will have the same issues you have with colors as you do with acrylics, but atomization of your paints with the airbrush does help with most colors even with thinning the paints. Except yellow and some metallics. Thinning properly does help by using less paint, except yellow. Honestly, yellow just sucks no matter the type of paint because of how many coats you end up needing for it to not be completely see through! I like yellow, but I really hate using it in any form of painting I do!!! The endless coats drive me crazy. I haven't tried a white base with yellow, but was considering that or gesso to see if it would help decrease the amount of yellow coats I would use in my own crafting. The last time I used yellow was for the roses for my cousins wedding. I had two days to finish them. I managed to get them all painted, dried, and packed in time to leave for that trip ...but it was a close call! I've refused to use yellow in my flowers since lol. I may try again, I may not lol. Also, you can use paints that aren't specifically "airbrush paints" in your airbrushes. With proper thinning you can use all sorts of paints in your airbrushes, just check with the manufacturer for thinning for both the airbrush and the paint. Hope this helps someone! I know I learned that the hard way lol

At this point I imagine your are just about finished but is there any way to get a hobby paint shaker in the box? They can be had for under 30$ retail. Nothing fancy. Amazon lists a couple as nail lacker/tatto ink shakers and green stuff world has a spinny style one. There is even a spinny nail polish 'shaker' for under 20.

I don't think I will buy the kit, even tho I'd love to, because I've been burnt too many times by surprise custom fees when ordering stuff from North America and I feel that for a package this size I'd have to pay twice its price (it happened once :C). I do have a question, maybe i don't understand how things work (autism makes it hard) we are going to have to charge the air brush, are we going to have but an wall adapter for our country? Like if the product is Canadian and Canadian outlets are a different from New Zealand outlets, am I going to need to buy an adapter so i can charge the air brush? Or maybe a grain can help me understand i am bit confused on how this works 😅.

Also, some of your overspray issues might be either the psi or the thickness of the paint. Plus the adjustment on your needle.

Usually we limit to 4 per customer. We only had one scalper last time. (Which is still one too many)
