Plus yes the main point is could this beasts grip get broken via technique not strength as average person kniwing this technique can maybe survive a life threatening situation if the info is shared this was not me vs brian in a fight you took that from my comment and not me or others. People think size instantly wins a fight so in self defense situations they freeze if a grappler can show these people how to get away then that aids the public not my ego or the big mans not that brian has this ego lol.

This trend is interesting. I got into it after seeing a video a couple years ago. Results are all over the place and not what you'd expect. From my testing of people I know, anything over 130 lbs for a guy is pretty good. My best is 176 lbs ( 48 years old and 185 lbs ). Seeing UFC guys below 150 lbs is odd. Grip strength helps so much for wrist control in grappling situations. Lots of arm wrestlers score lower than me.
@alexmashkin8632 ай бұрын
You don't really need crushing strength in armwrestling. I mean, if you do have it, it's nice to have, but it's not necessary, not something people train for. That being said, grip strength world record holder (or runner up, they change all the time) is an armwrestler :-)

I'm similar 48 years of age, around 100kg bodyweight, my best pull on similar machine is 180lbs, weight training about 3 years nothing crazy heavy but do a good load of farmers walks, deadhangs, rows, carries, deadifts etc and a lot of hobbies involve grip and finger strength, sea fishing, guitar playing bit of work on my car. I brought my machine into work loads of 'normal' guys around the 100 to 130lb range. A few in the mid 140s, and a bodybuilder guy around 155lbs. A lot of younger guys pretty weak, some of the girls were better. Id say the best grips were all 50+ dudes. I feel like I am the grip god of my work ha ha. 200lbs is my target!!!
