Emily you can remove that ink spot with acne cream 10 % benzoyl peroxide, or the 20% hair bleaching peroxide. Put it on thick, put the head in the oven, power level 1, cook time 30 min, start, let the head cool off, wash it off with a soft sponge, reapply and repeat until its gone. It may take many applications, but it will come out. I had to do it 15 times to remove the eyebrows I sketched on with prisma pencils, the brown one leaves an ugly deep orange stain and I will never use it again. It took me 3 days over the whole weekend but it came out. Pens and markers have been said to come out too. I got this method from an old doll forum 3 years ago and posted on my blog now many people are talking about it. It really does work, I hope it helps and you can save some babies :)

@MothersLovingArmsNursery Oh I know! I just left it because it's just a test head, it actually has deep scrapes and a split as well. So I just use it to test mediums on ❤️

@MothersLovingArmsNursery She is cute! I got the kit very cheap, they said it had a small scratch on the top of the head and was so dissapointed that it was so much more than that!

Emily I wanted to ask, ❤ would you ever double or triple varnish to protect your work, knowing that people change the babies almost every day and hold and hug them? Its not a bad thing, I do it too, I just wonder if it would protect the baby from getting shiny too quickly with such frequent interaction. Thank you. Hugs. Grace

@MothersLovingArmsNursery it's not my preference as it can dull your work, but there are situations that I do more than one layer. It will not prevent shininess but it does protect your paint in situations where it will be less gently handled, like in a therapy doll setting or for children. It's important to also revarnish once a year in those situations.

I have these on my cart since the xodus matte is still out. Would you recommend this over the kelbelka matte? I have that also!

And one more question, since it should be baked right away, would I have time to varnish the whole kit, or would you baked each part right away

The Kebelka matte is more matte, I like both, they both work well. I personally prefer an ultra matte finish. I've found a really nice feeling finish by doing half kebelka matte and half I Art Reborn matte. If you like a softer matte with a little natural sheen I Art Reborn is great, if you want super matte Kebelka is better.

It kind of depends, if I'm doing pronounced texture I bake each part right away so it doesn't have time to self level. If I'm doing less restore I'll do the head and bake, then the arms and bake and then the legs and bake. You don't want to bake all the parts together with varnish, so I usually break them into pairs

@@ebornsreborns wonderful I ordered the I art matte so I'll try mixing them! And I didn't know that about not varnishing the kit all together so bonus info thanks!!
