Testing S6 Mythic Drops in 100 T4 Varshans | Diablo 4

To be honest, the mythic drop rates seem to have been nerfed from just last week. I ran 25 Varshan, duriel, Andariel, and Beast in Ice and didn't get a single drop. Pair that with the ancestral legendaries rarely dropping, so I can't complete my build or upgrade my aspects, all 18 of those dumb runes needed to craft the mythic I specifically need and it feel like a complete waste of time grinding for no upgrades now. Just wasting time. Last season was much better IMO🤷🏿

Its random. I've done about 400 Duriels and I have 20 resplendent sparks and I kept 2 Shrouds, 1 harlequin and 1 starless sky.

A friend and I ground out Duriel, Andarial and all the other bosses on torment 4, we each got 1-2 mythics total; I even got the Harlequin helm for my build . . .and then they announced that all the gear we had was going to be unusable with the new update/expansion release. What a fucking scam; to have one of the BIS's drop for your build, only for the devs to nuke all your gear's value the next patch. It's like playing WoW: You get the best in slot raid gear for your build; and then as soon as you start the next expansion, you start replacing it with greens/blues. If D4 were a true MMO; sure, with somewhat guaranteed drops or 'tokens' to exchange for the gear I need; but to run 100 bosses over four hours and get an item that isn't used in most builds is . . .garbage. They need to fire whoever is doing the droprates and trying to sell D4 as an MMO; it's not an MMO.

pretty sure Legacy items still function, they just can't be tempered or master worked. And runes are sorta like mythic tokens in a way...but it IS an emotional goodbye at the end of each season, lol at least re-getting your mythics appears to be trending easier and easier over time and not going the other direction 🤷

I've done well over 500 runs of all the lesser bosses and haven't found a single mythic I only get them from dury and andy and even then, it never seems to be andy that drops them mostly dury

Try bossing with seething opal of equipment, it seemed to help me get more mythics.

I found a shroud of false death at my first grig T4 run. It's my only mythic this season so far. Guess I got very lucky

Yes. The bosses are a way to target farm uniques and each one has a specific loot table.

I still don't understand why people complain so much about mythic drops. Its the goal, if you can achieve all the mythic in 1 week, what is the reason to play anymore? Not like D4 have some interesting Endgame content other than doing tier4 and pit over level 100.

did a bit more than 100 runs with 3 other ppl. We totaled 6 mythics, and absolutely no uniques nor leg useful (good rolls / good ga). First time i feel like farming is useless .. reminds me of korean games where farming 30-40hours for one tiny upgrade was the norm

it is nice to have some items to chase, but mythics are just too rare this season compared to last season. in a game that resets every 3 months, there is nothing wrong with letting players get the OP items so we can have our fun. having a visible and tangible goal of the desired outcome is the way. if this game didnt have a seasonal reset, then YES mythics should be very rare.

sadly Esu is trash now that Rak boots have those nice over all stats love that all top sorc builds all use light spear and splint energy to pump damage heh they need to balance the class soon btw ive done all bosses in t4 total with all of them... ive done maybe 85 (evenly across all of them) ive gotten two starless, a shako, perdition and doomy ive also got a 3ga lord ammy and a tripple ga wrath i sold for billions today i got a 3 ga godslayer there also also... look im not a nice person about it... they nerfed the mythic drops to push their trash expansion full of hotfixes ... they want it locked behind a paywall of runes to craft... by nerfing you are forced to farm and trade runes see how that works?
