Fow what it's worth Gunviking: I too was unimpressed with those Ruger mags. (I only use them in my Christensen Arms Ranger bolt gun.) So, I took a few apart and polished the feed ramps with some very fine grit media and then put them back together with much reduced spring tension versus factory mags. They run quite a lot smoother and are much easier to load than factory mags. I also periodically take them apart and clean them out as the .22LR runs dirty. As said, 'for what it's worth'. You are right, that probably would help a lot. But lazy me just like to complain instead😆. This was actually my last trip to the range with this gun. I sold it to finance new projects.

Haven't shot any Lapua in my Vudoo but some of the members of our Gun Club have shot it and the results were exceptional

I did a lot of handgun testing in a Ransom rest this weekend, and the best results came from the SK. All tests will be dropped as videos throughout the fall/winter. That said, most of the Lapua did very well.

The SK Rifle Match and SK Biathlon Sport are my two favorite varieties of .22 LR Ammunition. They both shoot very well in my CZ 457.

Have you tried the SK Long Range? It also does really well. My last batch with Rifle Match did not do that well, before it has done really good.

@@thegunviking I tried the SK Long Range Match in my Charles Daly. It did pretty well. I looked back over my notes and see I have not tried it in my CZ 457. I need to get some more and try it.

For whatever it may be worth, maglula makes the .22LR LULA® loader. I have three Ruger rifles and find the device very useful. Thanks again for an informative video.

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, this was the farewell shoot for this rifle. It had to be sold to fund new projects. Hopefully, there will be videos with Anschütz and Walther rifles coming soon. Glad you liked the video and found it helpful!

Look up Maglula Lula. It is a Ruger magazine loader. It makes it quick and easy to load Ruger 10 22 mags. I was shooting sub MOA today with my homemade 1022. Timney trigger shaw barrel with Brownells receiver Kidd bolt. It's a very fun mix.

Yes, I should have invested in a Maglula, but never got to it. Now the rifle is sold to finance other rifles. 10/22 builds with custom parts can be very accurate.

Yes, that wasn’t bad at all. I have to say, SK ammunition is surprisingly good. I tested some in handguns today, and SK Long Range performed better than Lapua Midas+, Polar Biathlon, and Center X.

I've never been able to get my hands on any SK Biathlon Sport yet. But I have a Ruger MK IV pistol that chews out bughole groups at 25yrds off a rest with a RDS using Lapua Polar Biathlon.

I've had mixed results with Biathlon Sport. At $14.00 per box here in Texas, its hard to justify using it more. SK Standard Plus (at $8.00 per box) shoots just as well.

In my firearms, Biathlon has performed better than Standard, but I tested with a Ransom Rest (video coming later on this test) using a Feinwerkbau AW93, and Standard performed really well. It always feels like a win when reasonably priced ammo shoots well :-)

I just got a new rifle. "Keystone Cricket" KSA 722PT. Chasis rifle. I shot all three SK varieties in have. Standard Plus, Pistol Match, and Rifle Match. Two five shot groups of each. All did about the same, but the Rifle Match had the worst fliers. 😮

It` the same problem I have with my latest Rifle Match lot. It throws these incredible fliers. I have to check up that rifle. It`s unknown to me.

I've seen that ammo but never tried it. I was just shooting my Bergara BXR yesterday. I have trouble with the Bergara magazine releasing sometimes. I've been meaning to try Ruger 10 round magazines in it. My Bergara BXR shoots good. But not quite as good as my Ruger Custom Shop 10-22 competition rifle. Have you done any trigger work on your's yet?

Hey! Yes, a well-tuned 10/22 with all the bells and whistles performs much better than this one. But it's been pretty decent for an "out-of-the-box" rifle. I haven’t done anything to it-the original trigger is still in. I suspect it’s a BX trigger with the Bergara name on it. SK Biathlon has always been a solid round and has given me good results several times.

How does the BXR compare to the T1X overall? Maybe I need a BXR. JimE

The T1X is a more accurate rifle, so if accuracy is the goal, go for Tikka. But it`s fun with a semi, thats for sure. If I`m remember correct the BXR is discontinued, but used guns should be available.

Yes, they are slippery like a soap. But you should try them. SK makes great ammo. I would start with the Long Range and Biathlon. The BXR is not the best rifle to show how good they really are.

You must have got a bad batch of rifle match. My CZ 457 MTR shoots sub MOA out to 100 meters with rifle match, when there's no wind.

Yes, I bought 500, or was it 1000, and they perform significantly worse than previous lots. But have you tested SK Long Range? I would argue that it performs better than anything else from SK, at least in my firearms.
