Testing some Airbus triple-click scenarios in the XP12 + Toliss A320 NEO simulator

The triple-click is an aural warning generated in case of some mode reversion or in case of a landing capability downgrade. The changes are generally highlighted on FMA with a white box lasting at least 15 seconds. Mode reversions are automatic mode changes that unexpectedly occur, but are designed to ensure coherent AP, FD and A/THR operations, in conjunction with flight crew input (or when entering a F-PLN discontinuity). There is a multitude of mode reversion such as reversions due to a change of the FCU selected altitude, interactions between vertical and lateral modes and managed speed profile, loss of NAV mode, speed protections, flight plan discontinuity, problems of communication between the FMS and FG, just to name a few. In this video I tested some basic scenarios: Interaction between vertical mode, lateral mode and speed managed mode The aircraft is flying the F-PLN (NAV) and descending in a managed descent (DES) After selecting a heading (HDG) which is a selected mode, the vertical mode is automatically reverted due to incompatibility between a managed vertical mode and a selected lateral mode. Hence V/S engages at the current vertical speed. As a consequence also the autothrust mode is reverted from thrust idle (THR IDLE) to speed mode (SPEED) Change of the FCU selected altitude The aircraft is descending in managed mode (DES) After selecting a target altitude higher than current aircraft altitude the vertical mode reverts to V/S at the current vertical speed. As a consequence also the autothrust mode is reverted from thrust idle (THR IDLE) to speed mode (SPEED) Flight plan discontinuity overfly The aircraft is descending in managed mode (DES), flying the F-PLN (NAV) which has a discontinuity. When overflying a discontinuity the lateral model automatically reverts to HDG/TRK As before, being the HDG/TRK a selected mode not compatible with a managed vertical mode, the V/S mode engages and in turns the autothrust mode is reverted to SPEED. Approach capability downgrade from CAT 3 DUAL (fail operational) to CAT 3 SINGLE (fail passive) The aircraft is flying the approach with both AP 1 and 2 engaged giving a fail-operational capability to the aircraft (CAT 3 DUAL). After disconnecting AP2 the aircraft downgrades to fail-passive capability. Approach capability downgrade from CAT 3 DUAL (fail operational) to CAT 1 after AP disconnection The aircraft is flying the approach with both AP 1 and 2 engaged giving a fail-operational capability to the aircraft (CAT 3 DUAL). After disconnecting the autopilot the aircraft loses the autoland and the approach capabilities (CAT 1). The cavalry charge - which has priority - is triggered to confirm the pilot the autopilot disconnection. ciao, ho dovuto riguardare il video un pò di volte. ha una risoluzione insolita. non ho capito molto: ho notato che nel primo minuto e mezzo circa hai cancellato un punto rotta dal fms, e poi hai atteso che la navigazione programmata s' interrompesse e proseguisse per la prua corrente. poi successivamente hai fatto un diretto verso "ODULA" (se non ho letto male) e hai impostato 3000ft. Hai proseguito la discesa a 2500, e poi una volta raggiunto il sentiero, hai armeggiato con l' AP. puoi spiegarlo per favore?

ciao @Misonofattodasolo in effetti il video nasce inizialmente come un test - da non pubblicare - per verificare la registrazione del desktop che ha dimensioni un po' atipiche essendo uno schermo ultra wide 32:9 😅 Ho inserito nella descrizione del video una spiegazione... spero che sia chiara! ☺️
