I want to try those wheels and tires out my self. The adapters where out of stock last I checked. I will have to try again. Nice setup

I waited a couple weeks for them to be in stock before I could get them. I love these tires on the LMT now!

I just found your channel because I just bought the Losi TLR LMT. I was looking for upgrades. Sick channel. Subscribed and hit that bell, lol.

Sick rig bro. Ya put those upgrades to the test. Now we know the end result on those axles braces.
@FullThrottleRC3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The axle braces did their job. Kinda surprised it shredded like that so quickly but the axle itself is fine so it helped

Man, I don't blame ya for not wanting to run in the rain/muck. I remember one summer was constant rain and the road/trails were always muddy. I held out for a while, waiting for a time that dry and it never came that summer. Eventually, I decided to take my kids, my buddy, and the whole fleet out for an evening. While we had a good time and created some great memories, I swear it took me a couple days of cleaning to get everything out. Now, I only run in the dry, no mud/muck, no wet grass, etc. No thank you. Not worth the hassle and time it takes afterwards and something always breaks or wears out in conditions like that.

I've run a few of my trucks in mud and through water before but I knew before hand that I'd be doing a lot of cleaning after. Most times I'd come straight home and completely rebuild the truck right away. Sometimes it's fun to do but I don't do it often

hi - awesome vid, thanks for sharing/posting! Those tires sure seem like the ticket - are they the 'blue' compound... ?
@FullThrottleRC2 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! I love the Golden Year tires and yes they are the blue compound. This may be a little controversial, but honestly as a basher I haven't noticed a huge difference in compounds. I'm sure it's much more important in racing but I don't pay much attention to it bashing.

Hey bro. In south Al. What body u get for it? Did u mod body mounts any
@FullThrottleRC3 жыл бұрын
The body is the Jconcepts 1988 Chevy Silverado #0332. I didn't really have to modify the body mounts, I ended up trimming the bottom of the post just for extra clearance though.

Could you use the stock lmt nuts with those adapters? or a regular not flanged nut istead? thanks!
@FullThrottleRC2 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure it uses the factory nut. If not the kit came with everything you need. This was a while back so I don't quite remember but I know I didn't have to go out and buy nuts separately
@gravediggerrc3 жыл бұрын
can i use the 8mm driver and the stock nut to tight down the the nut with free style adapter on the lmt axle

Yep

HELLO FULL THRITTLE DID YOU USE 8MM UNFLANGED NUT OR FLANGED NUT TWO TIGHT DOWN THE AXLE ?????
@FullThrottleRC3 жыл бұрын
I used the factory wheel nuts that came on the truck.

Truck is looking good bro. Love the tribute wheels. I’m alittle skeptical about how well the carbon fiber braces will do though
@FullThrottleRC3 жыл бұрын
They did protect the axles. Seems as though they took a beating but the axles are still in one piece

HELLO FULL THROTTLE I DO NOT UNDARSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING HOW TO PUT J CONPTIONS TIRES AND WHEEL ON THE LMT ??????
@FullThrottleRC3 жыл бұрын
Refer to my last reply on your last comment for the link. You need an adapter from freestylerc which makes the tribute wheels bolt right up. No problem

If you have the new revision of the axles you don't need those braces.
@FullThrottleRC3 жыл бұрын
I pre-ordered this truck so they shouldn't be the revision, should be the originals

Really seems to be the people that can't drive that have issues with breaking axle housings. Almost like it was designed to land on the wheels instead on acting as a lawn dart 😂
@FullThrottleRC2 жыл бұрын
Hahaha I've seen some pretty quick and easy breaks too. I've been lucky so far. No issues landing on the wheels like you said
