Great job bud. I did my roller a while back and wish I knew about the lcg battery trey. You should've mounted the body to the cage. It provides more structure and don't see the body posts.
@travisrc16492 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I figured for racing the cage is just added weight, yeah it’s stronger too but the body alone will be fine. Plus I really didn’t want to cut the body out for the cage to fit.

@@travisrc1649 Ah I see! Makes more sense now. Plus it was a pita to fit it to the cage, not gonna lie lol.

I accidentally glued it backwards. 🤦🏻♂️ I’m waiting for Jconcepts to let me know if they have spares!

@@travisrc1649 Damn that sucks bud! But we've all had those bonehead mistakes in this hobby for sure! Just unglue and re glue it. It's not fun but it's not crazy hard to do. Look up on here different methods. But even if they have spares you will need to un glue and glue back anyway. There is a bunch of easy methods to getting the tires off on KZbin. Good luck! Tough break for sure

How’s the durability on one of these stock? And how hard is it to get a body that fits? I heard that the standard 7” wide ones don’t really work too well… Would you recommend it to someone who deosnt really race? I’ve always wanted a solid axle MT but the max crisher always seemed kinda “janky”
@travisrc1649 Жыл бұрын
Wow I’m late on this. Most 1/8 bodies are going to fit just fine honestly. Durability is great, as long as you don’t try to drive it like an X-Maxx. But for a solid axle, quite durable!

It SHOULD. If not, Horizon will send you the upgraded set for free.
