Testing the Arrma Gorgon "3S BLX" Goes Wrong!

We finally got some nice weather here in NYC so I took the Gorgon out for a test run hoping to see how the shock overhaul and tires would perform as well as the speed for Arrma to put on the box.
Boy was I surprised 😮
Make sure to check back for an upcoming video where I show my solution to the flimsy body, the speed and how the finished truck looks- the way I think Arrma should release it.

Looks like a blast, I'm afraid I'm going to end up wanting a monster truck, but I definitely don't have the room for another truck haha Glad you got a chance to run it, sucks its been such a rainy winter! Feels like we get 1 day a week to drive if we don't want to get them covered in mud over here on the east coast

I know, right. I didn't want a monster truck either and didn't have the room, but I made some by getting rid of my Senton and I'm very happy with this truck so far. 🙂

I have 2 UDR "trailing arm skid guards" for my roof rails, looks awesome, low profile and they run the length of the Gorgon body, front to rear, only $12.

The trick is to have them overlap the rear factory body skid a little bit that way there isn't any give at the common breaking point, we also ran a couple along the sides at the other weak spots, so my 9 year old can bash till the sun goes down.😊

Its a nice looking truck, but I cant do the 2wd thing anymore. I currently have 2 Arrma vehicles.

I feel you. This 2wd is different tho. Steers well and drives almost like a 4wd. Which 2 do you have?

Yes, they are almost the same size as the stock tires, maybe a tad bit heavier. They come with the hardware you need to fit them also.

@bigbristv I hear the truck handles pretty well with the stock wheels n tires, did you try them first, and what's the difference? Thanks, I just bought the RTA today

@paulmccarter908 I never tried the stock wheels n tires, still brand new so I can't tell the difference but I really like the ones I have on there now. So much that I don't see putting the stock ones on at all.
