Very neat!!! I lived on a farm in western Pennsylvania until I was 6, but my grandfather didn't have any new equipment and that was over 50 years ago. He raised beef cattle and grew hay, corn and buckwheat. Those look like some large fields...

That's our biggest field (15ha) years ago local farmers got together to rearrange a clutter of small fields into big ones, 10 years ago, this used to be 7 different fields. So for us, this feels huge as well. My dad only started recently getting a few new equipment, basically since we went organic and had to get specific machines, prices are also better so you can actually afford new equipment from time to time.

Thanks, I was afraid to buy this because I had used some cheap indoor drones before, and those were impossible to handle. Never could keep them in the air for more than a few seconds. But this thing is amazingly easy to use. It has a whole bunch of options that I haven't even tried.

That is some beautiful farm land you've got. It looks like good, rich soil. The drone isn't bad either.

It's pretty much the most fertile area in Europe, over here conventional farmers are disappointed if they get less than 10T wheat/hectare (average US yield 3T/ha) But it's a heavy clay soil, requires good planning and luck to find windows through which it can be worked.

Indeed, but it still beats having to listen to dozens of royalty free songs to find one that isn't too annoying. In the future I'll make sure to sample sounds while filming.

Great video. I actually prefer the sound ON as most ‘music’ would distract and IMO would distract and kind of cheapens the quality

Indeed, but the drone doesn't record sound, so I have to add it artificially. I was able to find engine sounds of the same models, but for future vids I'll make sure to record actual samples while working.

That's how it should be, I see there are heli pads for drones. But I don't think they can autonomously land on a platform that changes position.

You can select an object on screen and the drone will do things like follow it or fly around autonomously. You can even program it to fly along a route all by itself.

LA semaine prochaine je suis les cours à l'aéroport de Charleroi pour obtenir la Classe 1. Si vous n'avez pas de licence, théoriquement vous ne pourriez pas faire voler à plus de 10m votre drone. Or dans un champ que voulez-vous qu'il arrive? Vous faites une pose en ce qui concerne les ateliers menuiserie. Amicalement

Je sais, et j'essayerai de m'y tenir, même si en effet en plein champ, être limité à 10m c'est pas réaliste. Je crois même qu'ici on ne peut pas voler en classe 1 du tout (Aéroport Bierset) Les avions passent à 1km au dessus, le jour ou un passera à 11m, mon drone sera le dernier de ses soucis.
