That was insane. The ice can't be that thick at all, it still 'waves' but that enormous creature was able to pick its way across so that it never fell through, a couple near misses but it never actually fell through.

A lot more ice since the last "test run". Now it's a large ice field as opposed to just pockets of ice. He was trying some hunting out there, but not seal approved yet. Won't be long now precious! 🐻‍❄🐟💖💙💜

Yes. The southern winds that blew the ice out over the last week have turned to the NE and has blown the ice back in. Next week is forecast to be in the single digits. That will really get the ice forming. :)
