That is possibly because the existing lube washes off with the degreaser... after degreasing.. wipe off the chain using a clean cloth and lube it properly.. that would avoid any kinky noise from the drivetrain😃

I don't understand why they have the lube in a spray can instead of just a drop nozzle bottle like other lubes. The spray makes it difficult to use the lube on the links but just making it messy. I think I'll transfer this lube into my old Muc Off bottle.

Probably the reason may be ... Spray uses more quantity than the drip tubes. Hence you'll end up buying again and again

Lube We won't recommend at all. Didn't like it much. What we personally use on our roadies is Clean with Loopewipe and then Lube with Squirt Loop

Compared to WD40 obviously good. Keep your bike's drivetrain as far as possible from WD40. Get a bicycle specific degreaser like MucOff of Juice Or Looplube etc.

Clean the rims properly as it's a rim brake bike and the brake will be affected from the over spray and the gunk that dropped from the dirty chain
