I have thought about it, but my electric radiant floor heating takes a lot of power, as do my garage tools like my plasma cutter and welder. I will probably go solar supplemental in the future but not for a few years. I can't imagine I could afford a battery system big enough for my needs

Are the panels flexible at all?

Not as flexible as your mom. Jk, tell her I say hi and give her a hug for me. The panels are rigid and only flexible on the hinges and edges which I assume is to make up for uneven ground
