The triggers' sound is his style now, mostly. The mixing process is much more longer compared to triggering them

ultimately I think the mix between the trigger sound and the real soubds need to lean further to real, no one can deny your skills however

@@aditwani6562, signal from trigger can be always used for gating cymbal bleed. There is a technique which requires multiband compressor/expander, like one from Waves (i can't remember the name of it), or FabFilter Pro-MB. Signal from trigger (something like a tiny, clicky sound) can be sent to sidechain input of the expander in order to let the sound through. I did exactly that with my snare (I don't have mics on my toms - only kick trigger and snare mic) and my drum mix became a bit better than when I usually set the certain threshold on the expander, and sometimes this caused misfires :D

Adit Wani But he doesn't have a Job besides KZbin and influencer. I wouldn't complain if he would bring out a video or a covers more regularly but this... it doesn't need much to process those drums. You can start simple and then work off off it and make it more complicated, it's just another learning curve to master and get used too, and when you get used to it you definitely are gonna gain speed.

a small note of concern...sounds like you need a bit of lithium grease on your snare lugs,the only creaking sound should be the glue from the head seating against the counterhoop (lugs can rust and get stuck without) SEX

I feel like these heads will be perfect for metal or any genre that needs that super clicky attack on the toms. I do however love the way the snare sounds. I have a prototype I got a year ago that I've been using on my snare for pop/punk/rock style playing. And I feel it's good enough for pretty much any style similar to those. It reminds me of a G2, but with less overtones and a louder more focused attack.

Easier to record/produce, it takes a lot of time and effort to mix live drums and deal with mic bleed so on so forth. I'd prefer to see Sam go through the trouble but it's totally understandable why he doesn't imo
