I concrete my patio and now it gives a lot of dust which looks like sand. And when I water it it starts fizzing and bubble Could you please guide what to do? Thanks

The festoool version of this is the Rotex. Same direct drive rotary motion, but can also disengage direct drive and be used as a random orbit if needed with the flick of a switch. Out of interest, why don't you use dry diamond pads? I've tried all manor of sanding discs and not one of them seem to last more than a meter or so on Microcement. Even a 60 grit is just polishing after a few passes. Diamond pads last infinitely longer by comparison. The HD pad you tried looked like it was done for after a couple of passes on the concrete. I'm fairly new to Microcement myself so still in experimenting phase but this Is what i've found. Happy to learn otherwise!

Hi @Danielbathrooms3595 I'll take a look at the Rotex.it sounds like a good bit of kit. Re the discs, we go through loads of them and I'll be honest the quality has dipped recently so we're going through boxes of them. Its worth looking at the Galaxy discs because they last a lot longer. We use diamond pads on cast concrete but find them too aggressive on microcement.

@@ConcreteLab its a pretty nice sander. I think you would like it. Surprisingly easy to use on the hands.. like all festools line of sanders. Enjoy!
