Enjoy. This is my honest opinion after spent a hot sweety few hours setting the Mpp Solar Inc Inverter. 😉

Yeah, I'd probably get another Deye, they seem to be good units and also that'd give you some similar equipment redundancy...nice progress !!! 🤠😎

My thoughts exactly. I just wanted to have a look at the U-5648MS and see if it was worth the cost increase. I was impressed with the very stable 230v 50hz and the 1ms change over start time.

I'm not sure what you are disappointed about with the MPP inverter, unless thought it had different specs to what you found later?

No range on the built-in Wi-Fi. Damn Fans Run none stop. Remember, I have been using MPP Solar Inc for a long time. Here I thought they may have improved the logging. No. They did do work on the power side of them, though. Very stable 230v @ 50hz. The double price rise, they are just not worth it any more. $1400.00 with shipping. Not when you can now get really nice units that do it all for a few hundred more. I was also told when I purchased this unit that it came with an inbuilt parallel board. Just to find out after doing some back and forth with MPP Solar Inc to get the answer, Sorry Chris, I gave you the wrong information about that... Was not impressed.

Yes mine flick as well when transferring from battery to grid or grid to battery, but also sometimes I don't see the lights flick whatsoever. I am eyeballing the MPP Solar 6048MT so hopefully that will work a bit better. The sinewave on the MPP's is still excellent, and I suspect they focused on this rather than features. The other inverter I was thinking was the Victron stuff. BTW I got the breaker installed, and put a fuse in for each item, 150A for the inverter, 100A for each of the 2 Victron MPPT 250/85's. Mega fuses in the Lynx Power In. How warm should those fuses get when under load?

Work is progressing at your place. I still would not touch a Victron inverter if they gave it to me. Noisy and no longer approved for use in grid connected systems in Australia as they are deemed unsafe and do not pass inspection. Hence they are Not up to code. The PIP U-5648MS is a fare better for off grid. The 230v and 50Hz stability was very good. The 1ms change over was also very acceptable.

@@JustinCaseSolarPower the key thing I want here is the inverter to be able to transfer all the load to the grid in the event the batteries are low. Generally only want either battery power or grid power at a given point in time, none of this assistive garbage. I know the MPP Solar inverters do this fairly well. So that is an instant plus. Pretty much sold on the MPP unit, but always exploring other options too!!

Just one question, your deye can perfectly preform on and off grid, why back to mpp solar ?

I have always like the Bang for buck inverter from MPP Solar Inc. I was really hoping they would have made some improvements. They did make some cosmetic imbruements. They now look really good. they also beefed up the output of the mppt. I am very disappointed in the programming and the Wi-Fi. There are better units on the market, in the $1400.00au. None of them compare to the Deye.

It is a shame about the inverter I have 2 running completely off grid I do have 2 older mpp solar inverters that only charge my batteries from the grid at cheap night rate when solar has not been good

They are still a good inverter mate. Work great. Brain dead but give a very stable 230v 50hz. the 1ms change over also works very. But for a grid tie replacements NO for simple off grid. Yes. Its has it's limitations and like I said, It does not come close to the Deye
