A friend and I have the same system It’s fantastic We are off grid If they turn the power off, we just keep going Our panels are producing more than we can use and on a cloudy day we can run with reduced luxury like washing machine, dryer and A/C They (whoever they are) do not want the public to know Electricity is completely free 😁

I have been trying to spread the word for many years now. Building this smaller system next to my off-grid system to show just how simple it is. Sigi (wife) and I have been off-grid for many years, we don't have power anxiety when the grid is down. Right now in Western Australia, there are thousands of people without power due to a storm and ageing power lines, They will be without power for another 9 or 10 days. So damn easy and affordable for them all to do what we (The few) have done. 👍 I will keep doing videos till they all find my channel.

I recently got the Sol-Ark version of that Inverter certainly an upgrade over the Outback I've been running all these years.

I think this Sol-Ark you refer to is another brand. Deye just make Deye as fare as i know. I will Ask Deye if it is one of their older models. They do look alike. I have never seen them or tested that brand. It is good to get feedback from others on the gear they have found to work well for them 😉 👍

@@JustinCaseSolarPower I think they are a few channels that have compared them (Sol-Ark/Deye/Megarevo/Sunsynk) and make the assumption that they come out the same factory in Taiwan/China I don't know how true that is. I'm very happy with the way it preforms, and I can see you are as well.

Mm! Interesting. From the factory visit, George went to During the last expo 2023 at the factory all you could see was Deya. There were other brands in the expo hall. I will email Jinn at Deye China and ask him right now though. I just what to know what the facts are here. Likewise, I don't know everything, and I don't pretend to. That being said, I do know the right people to ask.

I have a guy who wants to sell me GROW WATT batteries but he says that they are not compatible with my MPPSolar inverter. Is that true? 48volt inverter. Thanks. Jim

I have no idea. I was given one years ago and gave it back. Did not like them at all. And my guess is NO, not comparable if you want to fun them both in parallel.

That is what I said. I was GIVEN a GROW Watt inverter. It even made it into a video. But after having a good look at it, I gave it back. Why, well, I did not like them at all. I was just talking to Silvio from e-Solar 2 days ago about the Deye. He sells Grow Watt inverters. And has found them to be troublesome as he has had to replace quite a few under warranty. No business likes that due to the fact that it costs them money. He will be making the trip down from Perth soon to have a good look at the Deye inverter while I put it through its paces for him.

Hi! I have a DEYE SUN-10k-G (grid tie), how many strings of PVs this inverter can hold? currently i have 2 strings connected of 5-550w panels each. I plan to add another 2 strings to max the harvest. If i can still add 2 strings, can I use higher capacity rating PV, like 680w 0r 720w? my roof cant hold many more PVs that's why. thanks!

No Norm, I make it Plain I am not paid to make this video. I do this Just so you all know You have options. No need to use power-hungry Old Clunker inverters, you need to add housing and other expensive gear to make them work. This one inverter in the right size will do all your needs.
