It's about 4-5x a good stainless prop. But when the fuel savings are 30% at cruise speed you get it back pretty quick.

I heard $6K per prop. Yikes!

Show some reviews on MX-A prop on some everyday fishing boats (lunds, alumacrafts, maybe a bassboat) and i might consider buying one.

I saw another video that explained the manufacturing process for these props and part of it is they 3d print the prop and use it to make the mold, they should consider just selling high quality 3d printed props for smaller boat applications if this is any better for lower rpm uses

Interesting but a side by side demonstration with identical boats, identical engines but two different props would have been better.

Crazy expensive ! Maybe the prices will drop as other fabricators introduce new ones .

Why does such a small boat need 600 Hp?

Sharrow has one thing going for it, its marketing spin. That’s really about it…

The props are absolutely amazing!!! Cost is out of control.. how about instead of selling 1000 per year at $5000 sell them for $700 and sell $10,000 per year and your getting it out to More people

That hole shot was practically non-existent... combine this with something like a Mercury Racing engine or their ProXS series, or a Yamaha VMAX SHO which are already designed to minimize hole shot and get you on plane as fast as possible and you can pretty much eliminate hole shot, it's pretty much you get on an instant plane.

Those props aren’t new, and granted they’re a little more efficient but it would take decades of use to recover from the crazy price tag.
@mattberning137 ай бұрын
I’m convinced. But the current price point is entirely untenable, you could drive around the earth and not save enough fuel to justify it.

Who wants to spend $4500-$5000 for a prop on a normal boat. My boat has 2 motors that’s $10k in props. Whole boat is worth $15k on a good day. If I add these props it’ll still be worth $15k and I spent 10k haha. I personally don’t know anyone that would spend that kind of money. If it was around $1500 maybe it would be more acceptable and affordable in switching. Can’t be much more expensive to make than a normal prop. Price gouging it seems since it’s new technology

30% saving in fuel it will pay for itself pretty quickly

If you put 300 hours a year on your boat

Its not 30% overall, its 10-12-% across a narrow rpm range (usually 500-1000 rpm range) max.

Actually a waste of a video without a true comparison. Shows nothing.

Maybe these guys will start listening to all the people commenting.......your props are way too expensive for people to want to buy them!!!!!

crazy expensive... $5K what 20+ year break even?. Who runs that long?.. that is a lot$$

It’s always RPM, never RPM’s. RPM’s would means Revolutions per Minutes - makes no sense.

Let me think about this $5000.00 for a sharrow propeller! How much gas could I buy. HELL NO.
