Stamping plates require a special polish. You can’t use just any gel. I know I’ve tried. It won’t pick up normal polish. It has to be the stamp polish. All the videos on stamping showing easy peasy is bullshit. It’s hard as hell to do it because you literally have seconds from the swipe to the pick up before it’s to dry and you’re screwed and have to clean it and start over!! And don’t get me started on how damn hard it is to clean those plates!!🤦‍♀️🤬

Do you know what kind of polish they use when they make the gradient effect using the white makeup wedges? I have tried to do that so many times but the polish always drys before I can use it. Unless I am doing it wrong lol.

Actually it will pick up some regular nail polish like the fast drying ones ...u can watch Talia on KZbin she shes the stamping master she tells u which regular polishes is the best for it...but I do know I can use some of the fast dry polishes but you can't use gel polish on them at all ....ans thats stuff in the polish bottle is gel polish remover it will eat through the gel polish

And it isn't easy it does dry fast af lol ..but they are easy to clean you use acetone on the plate it's self it cleans great on the stamper u use alcohol and the Scraping card u use acetone as well just don't put acetone on the stamper it's self cause it crack it and stuff

Haha yes! It makes sense 😊 I just meant that there was some polygel that kinda squeezed out the sides a bit and the back, and also it looked a bit thick by the cuticle (like the tip was kinda obviously on top on the polygel) so I just fleshed everything out and smoooothed it outtt hehe 🫶🥰

Omg I drink Bang and Monster and I swear it’s the same thing! I can sleep just fine whether I feel tired or not! I have to make an effort to drink more water bc I’m always sipping a bang or a monster lol. I love how these nails turned out and I want to do lazy girl method so bad but can’t find a size zero that fits my thumb bc I have wide thumbs even tho my fingers are not fat and hands are small. Zero is usually always a teeny bit too small and if I’m putting polygel underneath I want it a teeny bit too big. Any suggestions?

Be careful with that gel remover. It’s pretty much paint remover. You need to buff the top coat off and the gel will melt off. But it’s the same stuff they use to remove paint. Simply nailogical did a video on it and it’s concerning. I would check the ingredients and compare them to the industrial paint remover before you use. Definitely don’t get it on your skin it will probably burn.

Your very positive & its clear you kove doing nails. I just got the starter pack as well. Havent used it yet. But i notcied i didnt get the little booklet in the package. Also the starte kit just cane on a plain white bubble mailer, whichc is fine. But you got a way more professional box/packaging/presentation. Also to me, as a zero experience DIY nail person, i wuld say this is boaderline Intermediate. Idl kaybe im wrong hut anytime desoghs involved its perhaps 1 step above basic, imo. I wulda loved to see the way its advertised. The press down method. How or was advertised. I would say the slip feels oily then its def not alcohol. Great feedback about the consistency of gel. Makes me feel like i made the right choice with what to purchase.
