Dang, was hoping for different coloured (purple, red etc) primers. That said, I'm guessing you have a video on that! I sometimes wonder how well saturated primers work compared to neutrals that don't have to support intense pigments.

For awhile now, I’ve been wanting to do something similar. But because of laziness and not having enough colors. I only have 1 Mr. Color primer in white and just a handful of Mr. Color paints -black,red,white,blue,yellow and white. ( but let’s be honest, mostly because I’m a lazy fat bastard.) Love the channel! With the variety of paints and colors in the Mecha Empire, do you have a color chart somewhere that we can use when looking for paint? The online shops just show the paint in the bottle, which as you've demonstrated here isn't the "over white primer" look that we can reliably use to determine the color. Thanks!

Very informative. Im jealous that some have already received the BR-Swallowtail air brush, mine is 12-12-22 because the combo set. Question: have ever done testing of paint over pre-shaded or pre-shadow. Black primary, with a light coat of white or off white. Purpose is for highlighting. Just wondering. Have a great day.

I love those lighter greens and golds! Would look great on some classic cars. I think they all looked better over white or black. Grey seemed a little lackluster. Are you using Mr. Leveling Thinner to clean the airbrush too, or something else? I mostly use Acrylics (Tamiya, Testors, and Mission Models) because cleanup is so easy. Peace and love.

I would always go with a primer when painting Gundam's. Mr Surfacer is good. For thinning use Mr Leveling Thinner 7 parts paint to 3 parts thinner
