Great Video. I started the hobby a year ago and i have the same chassis. Your content helps to get into the hobby. Even after working over 15 years in professional full scale racing, i learn everytime sonething new about setup etc. I also try to take a comparison between rc and full scale racing in written form and it is amazing to see how similar but also different things are but very technical. Love it

I LOVE that you pulled it off. I marshaled a race recently where a guy lost a shock. EARLY in the race. This idiot drove the buggy around the track with 3 shocks for about 4 of the 5 minutes. Making marshals work hard to right his broken buggy. IMO, the RD should have told him to pull it. Rest assured that whenever he needed to be marshaled at my spot, I took my time. This wasn't a club race for fun. This was a big trophy race. Again, I applaud you for not screwing the marshals and your fellow racers. I wish more people had common sense.

That’s subjective obviously the person in your situation was driving like a peanut. I’ve driven in a race on 3 shocks but I knew I had to roll every jump so I didn’t end up needing marshaling and only lost 1 position finishing 4th to keep me in contention over all

Generally speaking I agree with you! However I’ve witnessed an expert driver lose a shock cap 2 laps in and still podium at Channel Islands. Crazy what some fast guys can make happen with a hurt car.

@@MayorOfStupidTown You know what? You're right about that. I thought about this after I posted and the incident I was referring to, the driver actually lost a front wheel/tire. So he was bashing around the track with 3 wheels. I agree, most people with decent skill can still drive a car without one shock pretty decent. 3 wheels though? Pull it off.

i run a S35-4 Evo nitro and the T2 Nitro Truggy both amazing cars i must say best car ive ever raced and ive never broken anything and its had some wicked hits and cartwheels

I only started 4 months ago in the racing side of this hobby (Electric, not nitro), and my first buggy was a used S35-4e. It's a great platform. I sold it and upgraded to 2 S35-4e Evos (One setup for high grip, other for low grip), and these things are even better! I can't count how many nasty crashes I've had with either SWORKz chassis at our local track, and it just doesn't break, not to mention it's very easy to setup and drive. Definitely a great platform! Great review too Ryan, I reckon clean the cars before studio recording, adds to the aesthetic!

I may try that pill change in the upper arm, but for me running the caster all the way back was great. I’ve had great success with the higher grip conditions, but I need more help in the lower grip events 🤣 I love my Sworkz and will hold on to it for a while.

I was always a losi gut back in the Day then tlr. I sold out and shortly after got the bug. Found myself buying the sworkz 10th scale stbith 2 and 4wd. Absolutely loved the cars. The shock package I felt are the best in the game. Bag for the buck you cannot find another brand that beats sworkz. Bottom line everyone needs to give more credit to the brand. It's a down right shame thar sworkz is looked over and not talked about more. Keep the sworkz vib alive

1. The car was all over the place. looked like the back was on a slip and slide entering corner at end of straight. 2. Mason made him use his own wing..... 3. When Mason asked if he like it.....he never said yes. Ryan has always been pretty good at sharing his opinion. I get the vibe that this car did not gel with him at all. he literally crashed until the wing was ripped loose then crashed 2 or 3 times more......then pulled the car. No doubt due to frustration.

Mainly because I know this car isn’t settled into its drivetrain and setup. Normally I do 2-3 race days on a vehicle before giving a review, however I am pressed for time on other races and projects that made me push this video out a bit earlier than normal. I will circle back to this one after a few more race days!

im going to florida for winter break and i wanted to go drive my slash 4x4 on some tracks but my dad wont let me even though my birthday is on the break. Last time we went on vacation over christmas we did nothing special for my birthday and my brother made us go to a football game on my birthday (he knows i hate football) I'm really dissapointed because i saw ss hobbies & raceway nearby which looks like a great track but i can't go even on my birthday because my brother thinks that its stupid to drive just over 30-45 minutes on my birthday for me to be able to enjoy my birthday and go to a track.

Rear links on the hub where probably too high that's why you had no grip, lower the links more on the rear hub side, this will give you more rear grip. If your rear link isnt on the lowest setting on the rear, put the top link on the lowest setting. Your rear roll centre may have been too high on the lower arm also, that's why the rear was too skatey
