2:10 Important info: this was true when the drift tuning was introduced. However, they have nerfed the drift cars and upgrading them no longer makes a difference. They'll be the same as if you apply the tuning when the cars are stock. Edit: some time ago they already changed this but only in drift races, so that having an upgraded car wasn't an advantage. With the new update, the nerf is also for free mode. It has also been tested, so don't bother upgrading the cars before the drift tuning.

There’s a bug with the camera on the 3 new(ish) drift tunable cars. I can’t submit a support ticket for some reason. They are basically useless in drift races IMO

11:18 you gotta learn how to clutch kick/double clutch the cars, but also throttle control it really helps with holding angle for a lot longer. Get those two things down, and you can consider yourself a intermediate drifter

​@@racerdemonvalkyrie4342just so you know "double clutch" is just the name of a technique discovered years ago and they called it that probably because it sounds cool but actually has nothing to do with a clutch since there isn't one in GTA. When you are accelerating and the car revs high enough that it's about to change either from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd (they work best) just as it's about to change gear, let go of accelerate, tap the handbrake and then accelerate again. The car will rev very high and skip the next gear, this pulls our car forward much faster and is very useful in certain corners for drifting. But it has nothing to do with a clutch.

Unrelated, but if they're adding drift tuning to old cars they really should add the r32/34 skyline and the mk4 supra to the roster. They put those cars in a class where they are highly outclassed by their peers in performance making them useless for racing. This would revive them and give them a new purpose.

Totally missed this video in the onslaught of the Harmnone content(keep it up by the way you're on fire!), but I posted on your most recent video that the new drift vehicles seem to have a camera flag messed up on them that isnt present on the older drift vehicles, let me know if you notice it. Also, of the 3, I like the Nebula or the Widebody the best. The responsiveness problem you're getting on your Nebula is 100% the suspension, take it down 1 or 2 more and you'll have a lot more influence. On the widebody, I can hold long drifts but only while employing the handbrake and normal brake as appropriate, but its so broken with them right now cause of the bug that you can't use it well, makes camera go all over the place.

I just bought the gauntlet hellfire one since they finally have a real purpose since it still looks the coolest by far, is the fastest by far, handles surprisingly well and at 4 million for me is also cheaper than all the new ones. Apart from that I'd buy the Durango next since it will be tankier and better off road than the others. The only other one that interests me is the new dominator one, it looks sick but isn't out yet. Btw there's nothing wrong with any of the others but I'm sure harmnone will agree that the two I bought are the best 2 right now

The tuning before upgrading actually got fully nerfed with this update. Now it has absolutely no effect, in freemode or races. So you are just wasting your money on those upgrades.

The whole upgrading before applying drift tuning has been fixed by cockstar, so no need to upgrade your car. And also a whole bunch of liveries was added for all drift vehicles.
