One thing I wills say is if you don’t brush your hair before using any straightener it’s going to pull, this, especially for us curly/wavy girls, is because the hair brush is meant to Straighten not detangle. If it pulls after u bush the section then be considered. Also, make sure you read the instructions before hand. Overall tho very informative video and it seems to work really well with our hair type. I normally end up using the highest heat setting bc my hair refuses to straighten otherwise.

Bought this because of your video and it was worth every penny. I have curly hair and I typically don’t flat iron it because it takes too long and I never feel like it comes out well, so I normally do a blow out which is also pretty time consuming, so I rarely do it. I used this on my hair and it took about 30-45 minutes and turned out amazing. I’ve tried the brush style straightener and the blow drying round brush and I hated them both. But I love this product and it was an absolute steal! I honestly cannot believe I only spent $50 on it.

4 years later they now have an upgraded version. Hands down the best hair tool I've ever used and my hair has been through a lot. My hair is naturally curly but not super tight coils I can go to bed with my hair wet which means I wake up looking like Albert Einstein and still single pass have my hair sleek in about 15 minutes. My daughter is biracial with very very resistant 4C hair and this actually got her hair straight It would have taken a few more steps to do a silk press but we were putting it in braids but it made the braids look so much better

I recently got it and I love it. It took me a bit to get it so it probably took me double her time but then again my hair is longer than hers and I was trying to figure out how to maneuver my hand on my right side of my head, but after I figured it out it went smoothly.

Julissa thank you demonstrating the Tymo. It is refreshing to see a some one with MY type of 💇 hair texture. I am mix with mix hair. I dry it by blow drying it first, then iron. That is too much heat, and hair damage. Does the Tymo work by using positive Ions? Most KZbin's video are women with naturally straight hair, with a little wave. By the way your hair is beautiful, curly or straight. My hair puff, fluff and frizziness is all over the place...not a pretty sight in the morning. Hard to comb through. Your presentation sold me.

You should do a wear test. I got the Revlon drier brush because of you (among more creators) but my surprise was my hair getting all puffy when humidity kicked in😫. I would love to see how the hair holds after a regular day in a humid place.

It was one I got back home and I haven't seen that brand in North America 🥺. My hair is 2B BTW, kind of like Hermione's on Harry Potter 1 if I leave it air-dry naturally without any kind of product.

I noticed you didn’t brush your hair first! I brushed mine and it didn’t work too well when I brushed through it first, it looked straight frizzy! Yours looks really fab and non frizzy! Would you recommend just doing it the way you have done it straight onto the curls without brushing? ❤️

Dear Julissa, may I have your opinion between the ring and the tymo iOnic brush? I don't know which one to purchase, I m so confused right now. The ionic is supposed to keep hair healthier? Is that right? But I actually like the ring more. Seems a lot easier to use, and it's smaller. May I have your honest opinion please? My hair is as curly as yours but less tameable, and always lack hydration. They are very thick and coarse as well..
