Swavy Curly Courtney on KZbin has wavy hair, thus tons of tutorials. Mel has coily hair, so wavy isn't her thing much. She does have some videos on her cousins that have wavy hair. But going with a KZbinr that has wavy hair is best.

**Side note! Yesterday I watched a livestream with Glam Girl Gabby and Blowout Professor; two other channels I follow religiously like yours. You were brought up by several viewers during the stream because Gabby and Chris do not know curly hair. Gabby would like you to join them for a livestream one day and we were all here for it! It would be so great if you and Amanda could be present to represent us and teach them some new things, especially as Gabby has naturally wavy hair that she does not feel good about (but I think is beautiful the times she has styled it wavy). You could give her great tips to style her natural waves 🙂

I could have sworn you had reviewed that tool before LOL. To me the Denman curls looked better on everyone. Never saw that fine tooth comb coil that was excellent. Yes to the finger coil livestream. My curls tend to clump so much if I use these methods that I have to spend so much time separating them too so they are a no go for me. Your ribbon curl method is my go to now and I always get the best results ... I will forever be in your debt for that 🙂

I'm glad you bring on Amanda for some of these videos! She has the same curl type as me. My hair is down to my mid back, and is so freaking thick it causes me a headache (my ponytail is the size of a silver dollar). My daughter, has the same hair, but as a toddler. We have our wash days, and my dear husband knows that we are not going anywhere when those wash days happen because it takes FOREVER to dry both mine and my daughters hair. I struggle with the Denman brush just due to how long mine and my daughter's hair is so it's nice to see other brush types that can work with our length.

I love this! I have hair that used to be closer to yours and Amanda’s, but since my curl is from hormones (born with stick straight hair and curled at puberty), now that I’m approaching menopause, my curls are closer to waves, and need so much encouraging to fully curl. Closer to mom’s hair now. I love the results on the dinglehopper for mom!!

I love your videos! So honest, so funny. You're certainly not boring. I have no idea what to do with my hair. All my life I've had board straight but dense baby hair. Didn't hold with any product, heat, back-combing, Aquanet purple (concrete in a can). L'Oréal came out with a hurricane-proof spray that was no shit in the mid 80's, but you could hardly wash it out, so it disappeared. In the 70's, a poodle perm was all the rage and because my mom had one, us girls had to match. Dead spot (where it wouldn't curl) about 2 inches from the root. Fried the ends because, why would you ever try to perm baby hair? I was a little miffed when my brother's hair went kinky curly at puberty. Now, post menopause, I started to grow my hair out because paying a pink tax every 5 weeks for a pixie irritated me. I'm retired, so I can do as I like without expectation. Lo and behold! My hair came in something like your mom's hair. Started like the mannequin at first, but now I have volume I've never had and soft curls I have no idea what to do with. Also, much of it is finally silver (about 70% ) and I LOVE it, but it's more course than my natural dark ash blonde. In the front, it hardly curls at all. However, if I hit it with a brush and turn it under (my hair isn't quite to my shoulders yet), it stays, which tells me it has potential. Which brush would you recommend? I'm thinking the Denman, but I'm not fancy and hate spending hours on my hair (I see why folks in earlier times spent an entire day on their hair). Then again, I need volume at the root, so the Dingle Hopper seems a good choice (I love that name for it. If I were you, I'd design my own brush and name it that ... while getting clearance from Disney of course). Or, you could call it "Dingleberry" as your sis did, or something like "Dingle tex" (texture). I also need super-light products and am not interested in using a lot of crap in my hair or spending a huge amount of time on it. I'm as low maintenance as it gets. Air dry (until it's long enough to dry with a diffuser and not leave fuzz). My hair is healthy and frizz free for the most part. Do you have suggestions for 70% silver baby hair for folks who only found out they'd gone softly curly after menopause? Do you have a connection with someone who does? I'll still watch your videos😁

I have one of these from Aveda that I bought from them when they came out with the Be Curly line. I think I paid $15 for it. No one at the salon knew how to use it and I am glad I kept it safe for these years because I now know how to use it. Yeah!

I've used the Aubonacci for a long time (2 yrs?) and LOVE IT! It is the only thing that gives my very long, very thick 2c hair a root lift ! I also use it on my face framing layers that are straighter and frizzier otherwise. Personally, I would NEVER buy a fake amazon copy because if I remember correctly, the owner did all the work -- invented and developed the product and went through all the work to get it manufactured, and she deserves the sales! It's not like ripping off some huge corporate conglomerate -- this is stealing from one woman's pocket.

I literally bought something like this at Sally Beauty Supply in the late 90's for $3. I never used it and it went in recycle. My good old vent brush worked better for what I wanted (the forehead swoop). You do not need a special tool to lift your roots. You need some short hairs in there to help lift it up, some product, a blow dryer and a vent brush.

Yes!! That’s what I thought was so crazy as a little girl in the 80s I hated my curly hair and my mom would blow it out but it was curly at the roots still but since I didn’t style like I do now my curls were frizzy and poofy and crazy and my mom used a Denman brush on her bob straight hair her entire life since 78 lol and I had no clue I could have used it on my curls 😂😂 seriously when I first saw you using the denman brush I was like WHAT?? That’s my mom’s 1970’s hair brush?!!! It’s not for curls 😮😮❤. And then I stole her denman brush 6 years ago lol her 30 year old Denman brush I can’t believe it 😅😂😂❤❤

I was a kid in the 70’s and teen in the 80’s and had one of those bushes too. It was just a cheap brush from the 5 & dime back then lol wish I would’ve known back then how I could’ve used it on my curly hair instead of my mom drying it straight and pulling tons of it out because of the tangles. At least the curls helped make my feathered style easier to do with a round brush as a teen

Hi, girls! First of all, I'd like to thank you for all the effort and love you put into your videos. You have no idea of the impact you have on people all over the world. I am a 50-year-old Peruvian woman who spent most of her life fighting her curly. About a year ago, I discovered the world of curly hair care, and my life was forever changed. Now I love my hair. And you have played a vital role in this. You have become my hair guru! :) Now, my question is: I recently dyed my hair and bleached it. It is VERY damaged. I am already on Olaplex and looking into buying K18. However, I don't know how to combine an oil pre-shampoo treatment with Olaplex 3 and Olaplex 4C. Can I combine these three things? In what order should I use them? Could you please help me with that? Again, thank yo girls for everything. Peace!
