i actually prefer the building part of the stream over the battling part. i understand it brings in less viewers which is why usually pinka will start with a pre-made team, but i love watching the thought process of building around a unique mon and the trial and error of changing sets/pokemon after games. wish we could have some of the streams be battle focused like now but have some be more building focused.

Hey, Pinkacross. I've been watching your videos a lot recently, and they are super helpful for learning more about competitive pokemon. It has been helping me climb a lot. So thanks for that! I have a question about something I have heard you say a few times in your videos. You have said that you need a dark resist on any good team. I have been working on building a bulky hazard stack team with sinistcha (garganacl, sinistcha, gliscor, and kingambit core and swapping around the other two) after seeing your video on that archetype, and I was wondering if Kingambit counted as a dark type resist. While he does clearly resist dark, the most common dark type I would be matching up against would likely be another kingambit, so that is hardly a counter. I am also not running low kick. Would you say another dark resist aside from Kimgambit is required? I have just been juggling what I really need on this team and wanted some advice from you. If I really need a dark resist then I think Zamazenta, Iron Valiant, or Great Tusk might be ideal? Let me know what you think. Thanks again!

I'd say if your only dark resist is a non-Low Kick Kingambit, it's more than likely a problem, but not 100% a problem. If you have a really solid gambit answer, like a fast ID + Press Skarmory, and a really solid Darkrai answer like a Blissey, then no Dark resist other than Gambit is acceptable. The best dark resist in the tier is Zamazenta I'd say, since it can handle Darkrai, Gambit, and (with Tera) Roaring Moon, but it really comes down to the other members of your team to decide which dark resist to use.

I think Munkodori cpuld be a cool stream. I lersonally like psychic noise mons that just gear through bulk w heal block, and Munki does it really well with the added toxic chsnce.

I think Munkidori is absolutely unusable to be honest... getting hard-walled by Dhengo and Gambit is pretty rough. Okidogi is solid and Fezan has some niche roles, but Munkidori just has nothing.

@@pinkacross2042 I did this before the Gouging Fire ban so the deal was basically try to chip the steels to the point where a spec Psynoise could clean up, but I'd have to see how it fars again. I don't have much faith in it right now.

Yes, that's correct. Landorus provided a safer win-path and forced chip on Gambit first, crucial chip that would allow me to kill with 1 Ivy Cudgel. Going into Ogerpon forced me into a 50/50, whereas Landorus and Scorching Sands worked every time.

i just tried to use this team and made probably the most embarrassing plays i've ever made in the first few turns and failed to kill a Ribombee and got something Paralyzed for no reason, and left cause i was so embarassed. of course, the opponent also immediately recognized the team so i think i was doomed from the start anyway. maybe i should just try changing the movesets a tad bit or something, like Taunt over Sub on D-Speed?

Do you ever want to do a stream with sylveon? It's one of my favorite mons and I think it has some niche with specs sets with stuff like pixiliate boosted hyper beam, especially with kyurem running rampart around again.

oh wow, i was actually just thinking about Nasty Plot Deoxys. not a fan of Focus Blast though, especially on a really frail mon that WILL die if it misses... would rather go Tera-Fighting-Blast, or hell, even Superpower, even on a Nasty Plot set. edit: tbf, i didnt think about Sub when making this, and how it makes sure you can live a hit while you try to Focus Blast, and then if you miss and it breaks, you can take your chances again or play it safe and switch. so that's something
