Sad to see the AAVP7A1 finally replaced, but at this point the marines needed new vehicles, even if it was replacements with similar capabilities. I do think the wheels will be more effective than the tracks in most scenarios.

Having been an 0300 and ridden in many Amtracks, I was really surprised at the limitations of the tracks and the high maintenance required to maintain the tracks. At every pause the trackers were out inspecting the tracks and tightening them. Definitely beat humping though ! lol

@@chrishackett554 That's just the mechanics. I got stories about maintaining Comm on these beasts. And yes, every operational pause, PMCS of some sort was required.

Tim a Tracker time will tell all yes is faster this is good. I don't have any idea about these tires will see. Don't like the rolling possibilities at all. Has smaller infantry squad. Most I'm noticing is that speed is real good. Keep us tuned in.

look at the old Ducks in Hot Springs Arkansas they move a lot quicker in water due to their tried n true big propeller Sorta like the trash bag commercial hefty hefty- verses wimpy wimpy. Big heavy vehicles small props pushing a heavy load. Pull them off mount either giant enclosed propeller much bigger or go with jet drive
