Testing Vinyl Planks Fails Against Laminate Flooring

As a professional, I don't see any pros in installing laminate instead of LVP. Laminate is soft and fragile, and even though the fabricator says it's waterproof, it's not. It turns into a sponge real quick. But customers love to save some dumb money and we end up installing a lot of these laminates 🤣

As long as the sub floor is smooth and level LVP will perform well 👍🏼

I have the laminate flooring throughout my house and I don't like it at all. Every room has damage within the first 2 years. Nothing modern compares to true hard wood flooring.
