It's because your keyboard is dirty from oils (from hands) and when you put your screen down it touches the keys and then the oil transfers. I researched this once haha

I molt and have a Newfoundland (which she has a double coat that she blows twice a year). We bought a squeegee (like you clean windows with) and put it on broom handle. We squeegee the carpet first then vacuumed. Saves the vacuum and between the two gets a lot of hair.

I have a dog, two cats and we're a two ladies household where one of us has cancer and is shedding hairs a lot. I use a Dyson powerball vacuum cleaner with a special brush for hair. It works amazing, no extra work needed.

To get a sticker off, just put some olivoil on it and leave it for 5 minutes. Then just wipe it off.

By the way, if there is ever anything that is extremely sticky that Goo gone does not wipe off as soon as you start wiping it, put the Goo gone on it and let it sit for about 10 minutes and then come back and it'll wipe right off

WD-40 fixes that straight away, use it all the time to get rid of glue and sticky things works a treat. Just need to rise it afterwards to get rid of WD-40 residue

Isopropyl alcohol takes off most sticky residue stuff, acetone will as well but if there is paint it will take that up too

Thanks for the recommendations! I loathe cleaning and I have a big 4 bedroom house with 36 year old carpeting (I inherited it) so dust is a major problem. Throw in a cat who hates to be brushed and I tend to shed badly also, it's a constant struggle. I'm a Librarian and Goo Gone has saved us many many times!

Whenever I have something sticky, like when you peel a sticker off something, I use nail polish remover. Works like a charm! You need to try that 😁👌

Jazz! That slime is GREAT for cleaning dust out of the inside of your car!! Use it on thr dash and over the air vents, and even the cup holders! It's fantastic!!!!

I live and die by Goo Gone. It has been a real life saver. They make a gel version which is less messy to use. I also saw Scrub Daddy sponges in the thumbnail and love them. I really notice when I use a different type sponge.

Jazzy use those bronze brush that says wear eye weather to scrub the pan with the pink stuff, it’ll do wonders!! The goo gone I’ve used for the past I’d say 15 years and I haven’t met a job it couldn’t tackle, it’s a huge life saver!

Natural solution for goo removal... Lemon oil.... 1 - 2 drops works wonders. Plus your house smells refreshing afterwards 🍋

So jazzy clearly has never worked in a restaurant, because I love how excited she gets when she's like "so you need only one hand to carry it!" and "it holds up to 9 cups!" even though that's what you do with a normal tray when you work in a restaurant, sometimes with more cups

I have found that soaking anything that has cooked on well, anything is hot water, and few drops of dawn, & a dryer sheet. It never fails!!! It doesn't have to soak long. I usually put the worst items to soak up, then do the rest, and by that time the cooked on stuff just wipes clean.

Another good chemical for stickers is sprint, we use it in work to get stubborn sticky labels off of the warehouse floor and walls… brilliant stuff

For sticker residue, rub on something oily. Olive oil, baby oil, I've even used body lotion. I've also used rubbing alcohol before.

I recommend getting a "carpet rake" or rubber broom for carpet for lifting hair off of carpeting! They are much larger than that small device you bought and work very well. The hair and debris mostly stick/attach to the rake as well (static?), so you just pull the hair off the rake and toss it in the bin!

Goo Gone is lovely. Another option is a craft heat gun or hot hair dryer. Especially for taking off stickers on new products that you might not want to wash with soapy water...like a book cover or fabric items.

That metal brush is meant for heavy duty cleaning on grills or automotive use. I wouldn't use that on any household items. The "toilet brush" heads are not for the toilet, they're more for getting into corners in showers, etc.

Swiffer duster and mop is the best investment ever! Magic sponge is another good one, as is that smiling sponge daddy thing. Swiffer mop is even more effective than vacuuming when it comes to actual dust and hairs. I’ve had times in the past where mum vacuums and I went with the Swiffer right after (minutes later) and the Swiffer was grey when I was done! So Swiffer by far my best cleaning hack

When dusting use a dryer sheet it will keep the dust from gathering on a surface also remember dry dirt is easier to clean than wet dirt, use your hoover to suck up all the dust

That same bottle of Goo Gone will go through life with you. You only need just a small amounts of liquid each time so the bottle lasts FOREVER. I am positive that my parents had the same bottle my entire childhood through my 20s and that my mom still has it now and I'm 35.

If you're having a problem with dust appearing quickly after dusting, you probably need to change your air filter and/or buy an air purifier. You'll rarely need to dust!!

Goo Gone is great, zippo fluid is even better but only for hard surfaces. Don't use it on wallpaper or porous surfaces. I used to work around a retail shop where we placed engraving plates that had a sticky back & sticky banners on the windows. We'd use lighter fluid to remove misingraved plates & banner residue over Goo Gone most of the time because it was faster & got more off.

Try wetting the dusting glove and wringing it out really well before you put it on to dust. No more dust floating up in the air. Rinse and repeat as necessary. I never dry dust, it makes my allergies play up and, added bonus, you can add a few drops of essential oil to the warm water youre rinsing your glove out in to add a lovely smell to the room while you dust.

Rubbing alcohol also works on stickers if the item it's on won't be messed up by the alcohol. Goo gone is a miracle product though.

The scrub daddy starts off amazing....but when it starts falling apart you pretty much are washing loads of small bits of the plastic down the drain. Put me off buying them again tbh. Pink stuff with water...works amazing with so much. Swear by it. Plus I have the same slime cleaner...works amazing in the car 🥳. Great video as always Jazz xx

FYI, To get sticky stuff off things yoi just need to clean it with an oil.. i use coconut oil. Any oil will work. Dont need a fancy goo be gone bottle :P

Goo Gone is old school. My mother was using that stuff when I was a kid in the 80s. I think my grandmother used it before that.
