I hate make-up trend where someone put a ton of products on their face just to get a "normal" effect you could get with less product.... Like, you can have blushy face by aplying a little cream blush After concealing but nooo now you have to put half your lipstick on and then try to blend it with half a bottle of fondation. 😩 Friendly reminder that you don't have to follow make-up trend to get your make-up on point 😁 you can do whatever you like

er, korean makeup is like this. u can check out Tina's vlog on wedding makeup by korean makeup artist. the end result was a natural look but there were many products used. most koreans do their makeup like that.

In 2007 I used to put face primer on my eyes because, "It's supposed to keep foundation on my face longer so surely it will keep my eyeshadow on longer!" It absolutely did not.

When it comes to certain makeup trends, I must say it depends on each individual's face shape. There's nothing wrong with your face, whatever works for another simply needs to be tweaked to suit your own face shape. Like contouring your features for instance. ❤

I think the top part of the "box" of the button was too low and that's why it came out that way. You got the look, but the button illusion made your nose look long and drawn down instead of pointed and upwards. Move the box up a little and shadow almost all of the area near your nostrils and that should achieve the same look.

Ok, the mask applicator mascara one is genius! I have kinda puffy eyelids so I ALWAYS get mascara smudged on them, and when you aren't wearing dark eyeshadow or liner it's super obvious and SO annoying😬 Definitely gonna be using that one!

What is so frustrating for me is that I'll do my makeup really good my blush will look really nice, I look really put together and nice and then I wear a mask and no one ever sees it. Luckily I enjoy putting on makeup so I do it anyway but still xD

That blush-from-within is easily done just by tapping some lipstick on after everything? I liked doing that with my lipstick so it tied the look together a bit more.

Yess exactly. I have been doing this all the time for about two years. I don't use powder or even cream blushes because lipstick works great as blush. And all you need to do is a tiny amount and just blend it out with your finger.

i actually genuinely love the concealer + yellow eyeshadow + red lipstick combo -- reminds me of a lip stain! (also it works better if your lipstick isn't matte but creamier instead)

Not all eyeshadow are lip safe, please use a lip safe yellow makeup product. I am a big fan of it too, but one has to have the right undertones to get away with it. If one's undertone goes poorly together with yellow, or that shade of yellow, it won't work.

I actually use a deep red lipstick for my blush and it honestly gives such a natural look!

@@rabailkhan9817 Yeah it is fine for some people but it’s formulated for the lips which is different from skin on the rest of the face. Many lipstick formulas uses waxes, lanolin, and pigments etc that clog pores. So while it may not irritate you or others, there will still be a group of people that can get acne cosmetica or other adverse reactions from it.
