I tried quick spit and didn't do the job. My instructor recommended me to use 500psi , it's great, it's a gel but I just put a little bit on the tip of my finger and rub it on the lens, then rinse before diving.

I used that once in Cyprus I came out of the water and thaught my eyes were beeing burned out!!! I guess I have a reaction to it others don't

I could technically test it but I do have a prepping a new mask for diving video already! Burning makes me nervous though. Too easy to make a mistake and ruin it!

It's definitely not a perfect experiment but once you've taken the mask off your face and had it off for a bit it needs to be defogged again no matter what. Defogger doesn't sustain long term.
