What a wonderful sermon on giving to the Lord. Not for shame, but what is missing out on what God can do. My parents faithfully tithe. The wonderful blessing of wealth and health he gave to them. It transformed others. I always gave but not always 10%. And still as small as it was, God always provided. I will admit I struggled because I did not follow God's principles. I plan on changing that today. Far as my heart, I give big and have always been given back enormous return. Despite having my heartbroke again and again it has been worth the risk.

I just read my Bible study and one of the questions was where you need to change your default. My answer was tithing due to financial difficulties. Then I scroll and listen to this message. God, I hear you speaking to me. I am being tested. I used to tithe every week and now I doubt my ability to tithe. God, I hear you! Thank you today! ♥️🙌♥️🙌♥️

We have been tithers for over 30 years, when our pastor started teaching this, we immediately put it into practice. We have been super duper blessed all of these years (living in debts free house, driving debt free cars), and our children are following God's principles too. I have been so blessed by your teachings years ago on 'the blessed life' pastor Robert and shared this with family and friends so they can live the blessed life too!!! “Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive'” (Acts 20:35). Above all else, giving draws our heart to Christ.

the tithe was started before the law and then it became a law of the Jewish people, as an additional way to separate them from the gentiles. But under the new covenant, we are to give based on what we’ve decided in our heart to give 2 Cor. 9:7

Question: how would one go about tithing if they do not go to a church? I do not go to a church because there is not a church around me that is grace based. I instead watch sermons on youtube. Pastor Morris, Joseph Prince and Todd White are my go to's, with a couple others sprinkled in when the spirit leads me

I'm in the same possition and I tithe to TBN since they are getting the Gospel out around the world more than most. Pick a ministry or split your tithe evenly between the three if that's how the Lord leads you.

We need fellowship with other believers. One who does not have fellowship with saints in christ, has no fellowship with God at all. Without fellowship with our fellow brothers and sisters our faith is incomplete. Grace teaching is different. First Love Others beyond doctrines.

Plenty of churches don't teach compulsory giving and they're as spiritually gifted and wealthy as Gateway. Lakepointe, Rockwall is one of them.
