Testing Your Pool Water

In this episode you'll learn how to test your pool water for chemicals. Use test strips, (I suggest Aquacheck Pro Test Strips) not liquid kits to test.

When adding acid add 1 quart at a time and use Muriatic Acid for Pools.

I also prefer Soda Ash to raise the Ph instead of Bicarbonate of Soda. It's cheaper and works as well.

Remember, Ph and Alkalinity will usually both read the same. ie: If Ph is high, Alkalinity will also be high and visa versa.
