People that usually do that do it as extra protection for their vacuum gauges Not something you have to do but could help ur gauge in the long run

I like it better than the Fieldpiece, but I’m invested in the smartprobes. I like the readout on my phone. But, both work very well

How did you clean your testo 552i with alcohol

Remove what you can from the tip, added alcohol and shake it, then let it dry, and put it back together
