At 56 yrs old, I just became a GED Graduate! Thank you so much for the very helpful videos! I spent many nights crying , ready to give up on the math test, but I kept studying 7 days/wk, 8 hrs a day for almost 2 months and can't believe I passed yesterday with a 166 score! I just want to tell everyone...hang in there! You can do it too!!! Practice a lot and believe in yourself:) Thank you again for all the videos. Hey Parker I just passed my Math exam tonight online at home 3 rd attempt and I was on the verge of giving up. I've earned my associate degree and recently moved to the US. I'm now looking into achieving my bachelor's degree but was forced to get the GED because of destroyed records. Thank you soooo much Parker for your tutorials. It's not only SUPER HELPFUL but I'm enjoying the in-depth math lessons. My notebook is full as if I'm in the classroom. Hi I just wanna Say I’ve been watching your videos for about a year and I just wanna say you’ve helped me pass every single test. I just took my last test today which was math I’ve taken it twice already I got a 144 the first try then a 142 the second try then I got discouraged and stopped studying for a little while. When I tell you I just watched part 1 and part 2 of his math videos the day before my test and a little bit the day of and I passed with a 153!!! I’m officially a GED Grad and thanks so much for all your help I literally couldn’t have done it without you!

Finished studying pt.1, and its onto pt.2 now! Its been a long time since i went to school or did anything academics related... I've never had any formal education (except for homeschooling until about 3rd grade.) I'm now an adult and life got in the way; became a Dad, got busy with jobs and everything else. I finally decided to get my GED and have been grinding the last couple months. Thanks to Parker (among other sources) I've passed 3 of my tests (Social Studies, RLA & Science) having passed Science just yesterday. Next is my weakest subject - Math. I'm sure with practice, study and drive I can pass Math as well but man, it has been quite the journey.

Easier formula for n!/ r!(n-r)!. Is to just lets say with the same number 6 vegies 2 choices. So u just do 6×5=30 then just divide it by 2 = 15. Another excample 5 veggies 3 choice. Just do 5×4×3=60 then divide by 3=20

idk.. the problems individually make sense, but then i remember there is like 30 different possible variations of each type of problem, each having different reactions to certain variables and formulas with varying difficulty that im just expected to know already.

The RLA test is mostly passages. You will be reading alottt but he does have videos on how to process what you read so yu don’t have to keep going back and forth. Most of the questions will tell you where to look for the answer. The main thing you need to work on is your comprehension skills Once you master that everything else is easy even the drag in drop I promise yu it’s is way easier then you think I passed my RLA with 152 but that’s because I got bored and started changing the colors of the screen simply because those damn passages are so longggg

Have no idea how you arrived at the answer that you did at 26:40. You keep explaining WITHOUT explaining. I don’t know math rules, so it would be helpful to know WHY I would multiply the bottom denominator by the tops and so on. Just getting really frustrated. I keep having to leave this video to look up certain questions about operations because you don’t really explain it well. I’m not trying to be rude, but I am getting irritated at how puzzled I am left sometimes.

Hi, thank you for watching and sorry for your frustration. To add fractions of any kind, the denominators (bottom numbers) must match. For example, we cannot add 3/x to x/(x+2) initially, because the denominators don't match. To get the denominators to match, one way to start would be to multiply x in 3/x by (x+2). As a general math rule, if I multiply x by (x+2), I also have to multiply the 3 by (x+2) as well. Also, this example that you're asking about is one of the hardest questions in the video (if I remember right), so I wouldn't stress out too much about it if you're having trouble with it. I do expect that test-takers will seek out additional resources to clarify things in videos as needed, as you've been doing. If you're having trouble with a lot of these problems, it wouldn't hurt to review some of the basics first, and then come back and try these again. I have several videos meant to help review the basics, as well as lesson videos on several topics. I'm happy to offer recommendations if you'd like. Again, sorry to hear this has been frustrating for you. But I do wish you the best of luck with everything and I appreciate you watching.
